If they are a game changer, why does the SP drift after every RNS...?

Let me be totally clear...

I don't want SOLG to fail...I have 900,000 shares...

I don't want to wait 7 years for the big bucks...

I hate CGP but it was them who exposed how badly this company was being run...

Its not about value for BHP or anyone...its about value for me...now...

In two years Nick has delivered negative ACTUAL value, not real value...

We have at least TWO Tier 1s...GGP has 25% of a possible Tier 1...

Every Exploration RNS on here is received with a great big yawn...and why? Mainly because he promised us 'shock and ore'...

After the first major Alpala MRE update SOLG was 38p...

They closed today at 36.1p...

Once the DFS is concluded the SP will drift away until the first ingot is poured, some 5 years later...

Do you all want to wait that long...?

He's had almost 20 Exploration updates in the last few months and still the SP drifts...

Do you want £1/2 soon...or in 7 years time...?

None of you know how BHP and NCM voted...its total speculation...

So why did he pull the resolutions at the last minute shipwright?

How about because the governance has been appalling and, having let BHP and NCM in, he carved them out...?

If you look at the highest TOTAL number of votes cast on any Resolution it was 1690 million...

If you take out Mather's votes from all the resolutions that leaves a maximum of c1300 million

But it also means that of those only 500 million voted FOR Mather...i.e. c38%...

That is NOT a mandate for him to continue...

Its like Trump winning the US election by casting 30 million votes for himself...

When you compare Elodie to Mather, he had 750 million votes less. And he cast over 400 million himself...That means only 500 million others voted for him...

But what is also significant was the resolutions that were withdrawn that clearly could not get the support needed when they 'straw polled' them...

If he had been disbarred from voting he would have been slung out. The Board simply cannot ignore this.

Elodie is the ESG Director. She will be in touch with the institutional shareholders and they will be telling her he has to step down as CEO, because he's run it as his own fealty, which was OK until 2019 but not OK since.

Simply can't agree eyes blue...see my analysis...this was a massive vote of no confidence in Mather and in favour of the new Directors...

So I've looked at the results in detail and its clear that the honourable thing is for Mather to go.

He got c55% of the votes cast, BUT 21% were HIS...so only 34% were cast for him.

Almost everyone I've seen on LSE and ADVFN voted for him, so it is clear that the instil voted against him.

750 million votes were cast against him, but here's the thing...

If you compare his ballot with the new Directors its clear that 750 million COULDN"T BRING THEMSELVES TO VOTE FOR HIM...

(1678 million for Elodie minus only 930 million votes for him)

This is simply shocking and I've never seen anything like it.

He CANNOT run this company as his own private venture. He has to go.

He should do the decent thing and resign.

Steve NCM withdrew their Board Director as a direct result of the FNV deal.

I was replying to Quady and then making a general comment on conspiracy theories...

Of course I accept your point on the financial value of Franco, but weigh that against pi****g off BHP, NCM and CGP all in one go...and the FNV money is SOLELY to develop Alpala...are you telling me that we would not have been better raising that money from BHP and NCM, thereby increasing the SP...?

I don't accept for one moment that NM is fighting my corner...with over 20% 'skin in the game' and the chunk he awarded himself at 21.5, he is PRIMARILY looking after himself...hence also the desperation re the AGM

If he was truly looking after me he would create an auction between the majors for the whole portfolio and sell to the highest bidder(s) as soon as possible, i.e. probably £1/2 all in and in early 2021 at the latest...then we can all move on...

A couple of points Quady...

Irrespective of COVID, NM's performance in the last year has been poor...overhyped, overpromised, underdelivered, built up expectations, missed deadline after deadline, embarrassed into proper Corporate Governance by CGP and also when CGP announced the revised PFS date first...

Second, all the majors you are talking about have revenue streams, no shortage of cash and access to $billions of debt; they have many years of producing reserves...

SOLG has none of these...no net cashflows before 2026...that's six years away...

Finally, the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn wasn't last night, its 21st December, so I wasted my time there...

To everyone else, thanks for the more measured tone today...more conspiracy theories we don't need, they just create argument and, as is the case with most conspiracy theories, they are complete rubbish...
