How significant is UKEF to the sp?14 Jan 2020 10:18
Hi all,
I was a semi-regular poster in the iii days but have been out of the picture for a while now (whilst still holding my severely under-water shares) as RKH just trundled along. With the recent news, obviously things are getting more exciting here and I'm just trying to re-educate myself a bit. Sorry if I'm asking the most basic of questions!
My understanding is that even with our new partner, we still don't have the funding secured to make this happen, although there is probably a fair assumption that we will get the funding confirmed as I don't see why Navitas would have got involved if there wasn't some kind of compelling evidence to support this.
So bearing that in mind, with the current SP hovering around 20p...
If we got UKEF approved, what is this likely to do to the SP? I'm assuming it would be positive movement, however I am wondering how much is already factored in because as I mentioned above, there has to be some level of presumption that it will happen after the Navitas announcement.
Beyond UKEF, if FID happened at the end of the year, what is that likely to mean for the SP?
What other significant milestones are there in the next 12-24 months?
Thanks!
