Anyway, MO knows, bad acid job can completely FCK a carbonate wellbore, is well known and documented, especially on high temperature wells, overburden will close pores and fractures, corrode steel etc...

MO draws comfort from hearing CASP only recently introduced acid, has given ample time to prepare for complex operation, if said on 5th attempt and 500m3 of HCI used, maybe could criticise...

It's all still in play... Even Messi can miss a penalty...

Anyway, if can't get 801 going, not all lost... Can call Schlumberger and request PowerSTIM well optimization service...

Did good job here on 4600m well in limestone reservoir... Also can look at Acid Fracturing, no not taking LSD and breaking your leg jumping from the 100th floor, thinking you can fly...

Hi Chilts, is possible, but will see what SS does in a day or two...

12m = ~600k, SS has 3 segregations, 1 x 300k, the other 2 around 275k each...

Probably going to Lerwick for a wait then come and top-up from Balder FPU and/or EP...

If crude cannot mingle should end up with 1 load of 300k (in one segregation) and the other load up to 550k (in the remaining two segregations)...

In other words if SS comes back to Balder for a 2nd visit for top-up then Probably A/G offload is 300k in one segregation, ~7.5k bopd...

Is tricky, but is a range of guesses...

Hey Chilts

Have some very provisional figures for 10.7m, will need to see what draught is post Balder offload to sanity check, it further complicates with two separate loads, Balder FPU max storage is 380k, several fields in Norway feed it with according to Norwegian npd.no currently produces @30k bopd, so think will offload max 350k.

Stena Sirita when full (~15.5m) can hold approx 850k barrels with no ballast...

Anyway, for 10.7m range is for 38 API...

SS ballast @9.5m pre-offload=360k bls 58k MT, post offload...

No retained ballast = 530k oil
1/4 ballast retained 15k mt = 417k oil
1/3 ballast retained 20k mt = 379k oil

So can see production range over 40days, currently looks around 10k bopd for A/G, is MO's guess...

Will see what SS does after Balder for more accurate idea.

As previously witnessed examples of negative bias...

Magnus was slated in early July when OGA said 7k for April, is dead duck etc... Is now ~20k bopd...

MO will prefer to observe actual OGA/ENQ numbers or best guess by offload, Won't get actuals for Sep until Dec OGA or maybe indication in Nov Ops Update.

Folks are fine to make their own interpretations of ENQ correspondence, is their choice, MO prefers numbers.

Think you might be half-right Chilts, think AK will have own tanker within one week, depends on well tests, if finished or not, have seen once before, Stena Sirita, first went to Balder FPU, then came to EP, then back to top off from Balder FPU again...

Might do the same in reverse, max Balder FPU capacity is 380k, will have to see if comes back to EP, 9.5m draught is unchanged, was holding approx 350k salt water ballast (approx 7 API gravity) pre EP offload.

TWalbyoff, is hard to say is probably around 33-36k for Sep, current number depends on well tests started mid-September, based on last offload (departed 28/9 10:00 ~500k) was around 30-32k bopd)...

Think should get back towards 45k when finished, certainly 40k, only can wait and see... Hopefully 50k+ when DC4 done in Q1, can see some delays at Azinor/Cairn prospect, on second re-spud and looking to be there until > 20th Oct, so a little delay to get Transocean Leader to Kraken field.

It's a difficult one to call... It could have been there since mid-morning, arrived at field at 07:20 LT

Can normally get an idea from past track, but with non-existent AIS coverage, jumped from a couple of miles away 8am to right next to EP at 14:30. so may have been there a while, is impossible to know...

Have calculated if no ballast retained, needs 10.3m for 500k of 38 API crude.

Will give a range when offload finished, don't think will consider duration/time on this one...
