A8 - Lithology and Expected Strata30 Jun 2019 11:17
Good morning all CASPers
Using wetransfer was no probs except only retains file for 7 days, anonfile has >5 years, so in future will upload to both and provide two links.
Is topical to discuss devonian drill, so thought would mention that upper devonian is anticipated to be sandstone first.
Can see in Smart Engineering document pages 27-31, details each age with percentage of rock type expected, then also covers porosity ranges and permiability etc.
Will list the rock-types for upper/middle carb, lower carb and upper devonian.
C 3 + 2 b - Depth: 4415-4750m
Limestone 30% - Limestone organogenic-clastic, porous, with streaks
Dolomites 35% - Dense dolomite and mudstones
Mudstone 35%
C 1 - Depth: 4750-5200m
Mudstones 35% The thickness of the dense mudstones and siltstones interbedded with dense argillaceous limestone
Siltstone 35%
Limestone 30%
D 3 + 2 - Depth: 5200-5300m
Sandstone 40% Sandstone, greenish-gray, gray limestones, dolomites dark gray
