Is handy to have some good research, can give ideas as to what is going on and what to expect, it can help manage expectations and targets for your investment. Have seen some great research on LSE, so happy in return to contribute, can only spend so much time.

But one thing have learnt, No amount of research = SP delivery, that comes when ready and proven earnings !!!

CASP have a nice set of news due, have waited a long time for it, so hopefully is enjoyable news.

Must remember, since sign-off, AK is self-fuelled on Kraken Oil and Gas, so may account for producing and offload difference, is certainly cheaper than diesel, current cost at around $5-10 per barrel produced opex, gas is free.

Was waiting for a source... Confirms AK Is doing well, as per displayed by tanker regularity.

Cairn have some interesting exploration drills coming up, did not do so well in previous campaign, so due a result or two, maybe Chimera ? (north of Kraken).

Did have some CNE, but had to sell when Indian tax office started selling down Cairn's Indian holding, resulting in large impairment.

There Is clear definition for deviated well...

Being, It requires manual intervention to alter vertical path, whether through whipstock or directional drilling...

Do agree with horizontal not always true horizontal, but is there or there abouts as drill-bit threads best route through reservoir.

Is tricky drilling deep wells, as high pressures require dense mud some times is lost in matrix, causing blockages, can usually be washed clean.

Is topical to discuss devonian drill, so thought would mention that upper devonian is anticipated to be sandstone first.

Can see in Smart Engineering document pages 27-31, details each age with percentage of rock type expected, then also covers porosity ranges and permiability etc.

Will list the rock-types for upper/middle carb, lower carb and upper devonian.

C 3 + 2 b - Depth: 4415-4750m
Limestone 30% - Limestone organogenic-clastic, porous, with streaks
Dolomites 35% - Dense dolomite and mudstones
Mudstone 35%

Abstract for doc is...

Abstract. The article presents the initial results of works at the presalt highs located in the immediate proximity to the Tengiz oilfield. The 3D seismic surveys have detailed the structure of seven presalt highs. The drilling works at the depths of 5200-6200 m have been performed under abnormally formation high pressures and high temperatures. The newly obtained data on the drilling at Ansagan give the opportunity to define the perspectives of the deep Devonian strata and they represent the start of a new direction of exploration for large reserves of hydrocarbons in the South-Eastem Pre-Caspian basin.
