RE: MJF and 202013 Jul 2019 11:21
Good morning all
A week in the life of CASPs biorhythms...
Obviously MJF production licence was highlight of week, is now sorted (hooray), so not only we get the improved cash-flow benefits of MJF, but have also proved the Kaz licence upgrade process and experienced any associated foibles, hopefully will benefit future licence upgrade applications, i.e Airshagyl.

Regarding yesterday's update...
A8 - Did expect further drilling progress, but CASP are being understandably tentative, have cased and cemented in 159m of high pressure interval and need to be certain that gas and oil is restrained for integrity of well, hopefully the cement bond log will confirm this and drilling can continue as planned, is a wait and see.
A5 - Is as says, working on best side-track kick-off point and going-well, well cleanliness is paramount, especially when eventually start milling through casing, need to make sure no heavy metal fragments are lost from circulation, causing issues later-on (i.e. magnet/basket).
A6/801 - Are going for an acid frac, is what is needed, can mix mud cleaner with the inhibited acid (and more), would not be surprised if this method becomes a common "well clean up" feature on most deep wells, maybe even purchase a "heavy duty" coiled-tubing machine for our services division, lets try-it first !!!
As CC knows, MO likes Baker Hughes DeepSpot, can work on wells with bottom hole temps ~150c, typically so far, our wells are around 130c (boil a kettle quick down there). Some good links to supplement "DeepSpot" video..

Anyway, Let's get existing MJF wells worked-over and optimised, then commence in-fill drilling (original plan was 2 new wells at a time), The new field development plan adds another 10k'ish of storage, but still have 4k now (8x500k tanks), so have some room-ready to grow.
Obviously, when we start (optimist) testing deeps, will be busy time !!!
Good luck all CASPers, MO
