I wonder if Mike Ashley could be persuaded to invest a few bob in SAR. (Maybe not such a good idea.)

OK. So what we're really looking for is news that another milestone payment will be due of $x m. Then we received payments for 2 of the programs. If there are now 2 more - will this generate a further milestone payment?

A question I've been wondering for some time - why does the update at the end of the month have much bearing on the SP of SAR? The value of milestone payments is presumably fixed, so is it simply a confirmation that expected cashflow is on track, and that all is going well? Surely much greater influences on the SP of SAR will come from the other compounds. These are the ones that have the potential to double or more the SP. What proportion of the value of SAR comes from it's 27.5% stake in SRA737, I wonder?

I'd put a hopeful limit buy order in, which was triggered after the big sell at 15:09:36 causing the offer to drop to 0.85p. Notice there were multiple trades within 20 secs. I suspect these were all limit buys, too. Not enough reaction time for placing a trade otherwise. Could have been all different people. I too was surprised to see all the rush of trades.

My consolation is that my gains here are larger than my losses on VAL!, and that of my 5 recent bios, VAL is the only dud. SP is only 96.7% down from my entry in 2011, whereas SUMM is 32% up from 2011. (Subsequent purchases have made my overall gain greater.)

Market reaction is very positive. i wonder what further boost there will be when the US begins trading?

Can anyone tell me how ETX comes to have such a large cash balance? And how long before its all spent? It looks to me from interims it should last at least two years. What then? Is this worth an investment?

No liquidity? Not surprising really since the new issue is convertible stock and warrants. Until the old holders start to sell, or until the new holders convert some of their shares, there will be no stock available, since on QB it was all matched trades. Perhaps it still is now? No-one's in a rush to sell at $4.

I didn't take it for granted - I looked at the numbers of shares in issue and compared it with the numbers of units and warrants issued. I think the different types of warrants are simply a means to prevent the institutions flooding the market with 4.125p shares from the immediate sale of their warrants.

So its finally happening! I've skimmed through the offering document out of curiosity and have come to the following views: Existing holders will still own their common stock, will get no preference shares and no warrants. They are for those taking part in the offering of new units. The purpose of the warrants and the two classes seems to be a sop to institutional investors who have lost a lot of value (eg baxter/shire) having purchased shares in previous placings at a premium. As with most placings existing holders get a raw deal, because the SP has fallen in advance of the event. Perhaps a small consolation is that now the SP should recover some of its lost ground in the next few weeks. The only way to counter this is to buy now at $4.25, assuming you're not a lucky investor of new shares and warrants. I'm sorry, I'm not tempted back. I'll stick to losing (and making?) money on AIM and in the case of Plethora, in a similarly depressing situation, in HK!

Love to come, but I've now sold out in boredom and disappointment. Takes quite a few trades over weeks and weeks, but I managed to get an average of just over 40c. So overall I've not come out with a loss, but only because of the extra I loaded up near the end of AIM days. So I'll say tata to you all now - there's always another BIO stock to "get stuck" into going to foreign parts, after all! (PLE is the one in question, as far as I'm concerned!) ATB, Mathsprof.

SP has risen a little in 2015. My second highest performer of the year! Quite a misleading statistic for at least two reasons. The SP had slumped from £1+ during 2014. Buying and selling not exactly easy for most holders. So all very academic. 100% gain for 2016 too? Happy new year.

Does with Xenetic. We've been using a similar "defunct" BB for almost 2 years now. Very useful when there are presentations or RNS etc that members can point out to others, as well as the usual chat.

I'm afraid I'm indifferent. No indication of price/dilution, so the news is pretty meaningless until the NASDAQ plans can get off the ground. Do I remember there was some sort of 2 year rule for certain ways of getting a listing? At least that hurdle will be easy to jump! I think 40-50c is a likely listing price, given the recent SP history over the past year. But who knows. . .
