Whether I believe them or not is not relevant. I've been in GVC (ENT) since 2011, know the company and will stay invested.

Has anybody found a reason for this??

Perhaps the history of this company is not widely known so here's my two pennyworth.
Long ago I bought stock in a company called Niche. It was many years ago and memories fade but I think I remember that the directors were considering investment in diamond or gold mines.
Years passed and all that happened was that reports were issued, directors were paid and the name was changed to Path. Still no business, no income and certainly no profits.
Inaction and Indecision continued for over a decade. Then a fund raise (I guess that all the money raised for the Niche plc endeavour was gone by then) and the purchase of the present enterprise.
My investment was and continues to be tiny but would I entrust more of my money to these people? You decide.
Often I have known of fund raises taking place at prices above the market price, the right contacts are useful.
Would I pay over the odds to get warrants , no don't think so not unless there has been a complete change of board members that I didn't notice.

I got piled on last year when I was warning (on another board) about ARB when they were north of £2. Got called every name imaginable. De-ramper was the only one repeatable. They just avoided a chapter 11 a couple of weeks back. Got bailed out and now about 10p.
It won't happen here? Well who actually knows. No one, that's who.
