I personally believe this can't be fecked up in the way the current share price reflects, but you never know and comms, not news, would help through these times. Nothing new, but when will they learn!

We don't know if we asked them or vice versa. The offer will be very revealing one way or another in terms of value and forward relations.

Neil says they are looking to monetize ruvuma in the next few months which may include a further appraisal well at ch-1. Sounds to me they might be out before and in the recent meeting I picked up on a few things which made me wonder the same. We shall see but it makes sense for the zubs to strike now to simplify things moving forwards. Why wait when they are already doing all the due diligence now and it will only cost more if ch1 comes in successfully.

To be fair me lord it did improve with a detailed, even if late, operational report and a tweet. It's just been radio silence since the farmout news. As drewky said, that's to be expected with regards to progress updates of any detail. However, I think a little tweet just to say pretty much what they were prepared to say to Malcy not too long ago, would be good. Simple comms and a little proactivity on that front would be appreciated.

Yes, agreed, and those parties involved are well aware of whether they are part of the short term or long term plans. It seems that regardless of near term goals and long term, the government are prepared to drag their heels somewhat.

Export is still very important to Tanzania's goals. Huge amounts of offshore gas worth billions to the economy. I think Exon just share the same pain as us with the government and their pace, but they can move on, unlike us currently.

Exons issue was the delay in decisions around the LNG plant. They would have been exporting so a totally different market. I certainly doubt you can link the ntorya discovery to any of their decision process drewky :)

They could wait on the final pipeline Mick, but demand will out strip supply if they do based on current projections.

Mick, you seem to have your figures wrong. They were expecting to prove 153bcf pmean and 70bcf 2c. They proved about 760bcf 2c. The 80 is planned development. To suggest they were expecting to extract all 2c with just the 2 drills is wrong and to suggest they proved less than expected is ridiculous.

Agreed drewky and I replied, in part, with the same last night. The tpdc signed off the 3 well EPS which was part of the dev license application, so to suggest they need an additional 2-3 wells is incorrect. That's assuming the tpdc will build the pipeline, which I'd think they will.

To extract the gas drewky although there could still be an increase. If the deeper target does contain hydrocarbons then of course that will increase resources. It's exploration and not included in current estimates.

Cyan, you seem to be the only person speaking unemotionally on this board and thanks for that. I don't doubt there will be a rise on anticipation, but I also think it will be a bubble. A big gamble not to trade out before results. I think most here know this.

Maybe should've been more explicit. One more well required for the tdpc to commit to the pipeline, if they decide to take it on.

Mick, the tdpc have already backed the dev license which also includes the 3 wells (two already drilled) required for the so called EPS (seems slightly late rather than early). They just need to drill ch1/nt3, not another 2-3 wells. Commercialisation study was completed by IO, a 3rd party. Just need to get through all of the necessary legal/politics to get this moving. Timeline?
