Are you still planning on selling up for tax reasons dunder? Does that need to be this fiscal?

As long as it comes in time to drill in the next weather window I'm happy. The stop date was always out of their control and at the mercy of the government. No point in building any expectations it will be completed by 31st March.

Random, you said they must have a team lined up for the 3d, but if you read the rns it actually only says the money will be used to 'plan' for the 3d along with 2d reinterpretation.

Thanks for correcting Crusty. As you say, it's unlikely solo would find themselves in a situation where they couldn't pay. As to the original question as to whether the hold up could be related to government concerns over solo's ability to fund their share, I don't think it would be a concern for them, so no imo.

Max, if SOLO couldn't pay, or aminex for that matter once the carry has been spent, they would simply default their share to the operator after going through due process. That's my understanding anyway and the government wouldn't have any concerns.

I have my doubts as to the reasons that money was raised, but they said it was raised for other things than kn1 remediation in the kn license. Time will tell.

Really Chris? They've had almost two years to plan and for field development past ch1 they are getting 3d which will be used for future dev decisions on top of what's already known from the last two drills. Do you really think they're flat out? I don't think they are to blame for the stagnation (other than what might be happening at kn1), but it certainly doesn't seem like output matches outgoings currently. As you say, license please!

A stronger cash position and more than one offer on the table would have helped too. All in the past now and hopefully things start to move over the next few months.

There's not a lot that Aminex can do to be fair and its just a case of waiting for the government to work through whatever is holding up the issue of the license - frustrating as that might be.

License - some time in the future Kn1 - some time in the future That's all anyone can really say with any integrity. When they come though it will be time for celebration, especially if in fairly quick succession :)

Licenses on the brain Drewky! No, you wont need a license. I've got a French bulldog. Never been a dog person and more of a cat lover but he's cool. Not like a normal yappy dog which I cant stand. Shame he suffers from seizure's though so has to be on meds :(

No surprise at all crusty and also I would not be surprised if the March date was to slip either as its totally with the government and even if they need the gas in the timeline spelt out, then from their perspective they would be working towards the next weather window. I would say the farmout could complete by end of April or even a bit later and still achieve the drill within that.

Drewky, I agree with you apart from your calculations based on March 31st. We shall see and I certainly hope it arrives sooner and tomorrow would be even better.

Fair enough Drewky and I'm not really that worried at the moment as I see no reason for the license to not be issued. I just don't agree that anyone can give any predictions as to when, even with the March 31st date. Also at KN1 there is clearly a hold up or we would likely be producing already or know that remediation has failed. That hold up may be strategic in that we don't know when the license will come and the cash is better in the bank to keep things going until it is known. Would we be paid for gas anyway with the outstanding claim? Just need that license and for that, we just have to wait to get to the end of that piece of string. The joys of Aminex/Tanzania :-)

And Drewky, you say "We have two months before the deal has to be completed ", but that was the case at the end of November wasn't it? March 31st is the only date that people can really base assumptions on and we have already seen a previous date moved. I am not saying it wont happen, but no one can really use this as a cut off for when things MUST happen.
