I don’t think you can give maxpowers post any credence (no insult max). Nothing material or backed up with facts or even an idea of how this ‘source’ would have this insight. I hope he/she is right, but for the moment we are where we were months ago with no evidence of progression on Ruvuma or kn1. I think the agm will pass and the situation remain the same but with some more reassuring plans as to how the company will make the remaining funds last as await the government. It will all happen one day.

A case of sitting tight until that license arrives. Costs need to be reduced significantly. They scaled up due to Ruvuma operations, but haven't scaled back and I very much doubt those that will be transferred across to APT once the farm out completes will have their wages paid back as part of the back-in costs with the farmout. There must be very little happening which at the moment is costing a hell of a lot with little benefit to AEX.

I'd be in favor of a raise once the farmout completes and ch1 spud announced and the share price in a much better/realistic position. I certainly don't see any need beforehand. Not sure I agree with you crusty in terms of thinking things might be sooner than maybe thought. Things could move tomorrow or take another year or more. There's very little to go on in terms of what's been said by aex and what's been and gone, so for me it's the length of a piece of string. Whenever the government is ready.

You love being the drama queen fjones. Either you think they'll get the license and wait or you dont and should sell up. You say it's now a binary decision, but its been that way since before you bought back in hoping to make a quick buck on the pattern of dropping to 1.4 and back up to 1.7-9 a few times. For me, the license will come and yes it's very frustrating waiting, but no need to post that frustration constantly on this board as it helps no one.

Just remember, in the latest update it said they were confident the farmout would complete by the end of the year. The 4 month extensions seem arbitrary in terms of timing so I wont be surprised if/when its extended. The government are clearly working on it or they would simply just reject the application. Tanzania pace and frustrating as ever.

Let's hope the government get the message they are damaging their ability to grow with all these delays. 2025 target to be a middle income economy? Very doubtful if not impossible.

Certainly reads as if the whole lot will come at once including the 25 year dev license.

It's been a binary bet since the farmout was announced. If it happens then all is good, if not then screwed. They need reduce costs and should have done already. Where is the leadership?
