Surely the change of operator and farmout completion is just a formality. Aminex aren’t capable of completing the work programme agreed with the extension so it all must be done in the background. Doubt it will be long before the next rns.

Let’s hope that is the case with the next one GL. I doubt the NT3 target will increase it based on their modelling of a connected reservoir, but the CH1 target could do nicely. They may have handed over 50% of the total JV for the farm out, but I think it’s worth remembering that the NT2 drill was targeting 70bcf 2c, but ended up proving 770bcf 2c (roughly).

I would have thought there will be a change in the share price direction over the next few weeks, but hard to say that with any conviction considering COVID and general slow progress in Tanzania. If they can complete the farmout, get the money owed, announce a spud date all within the next 3 months then the SP should look after itself. I hope it's not a case of a news blackout for some time now (other than financials) and a temporary spike followed by a gradual decline.

I thought this line looked like a hint at diversifying outside of Tanzania.

You would have thought they would want the share price as high as possible in order to raise in the future and explore Nyuni, KN. That is of course, if they dont want to completely take out Aminex which you said you consider unlikely and I agree since they could have done this previously. Why wait till now.

I wonder how much of these overheads are just paying staff who are simply being kept in order to transfer over to APT. Probably providing little to no service for AEX currently (as with most of them in these times) or anytime in the future. If the farmout completes will those wages be included in the back costs? I doubt it.
