Strange post. Read the following RNS.

I think it was only said by the ceo he’d be disappointed if they weren’t drilling by then, not that it was actually the target date. They’ve also said they’ve done lot of preliminary work so they can get moving ASAP once the farmout completes. Hardly ASAP unless the longstop is pushed out again.

It confirms that the CH-1 drill is planned for H1 2021. Disappointing really.

The government are only interested in the operators ability to fund developments. If solo can’t pay they just lose their share to the JV proportionately. Maybe this is why an rns hasn’t been released to date, but not a reason for the overall holdup.

If the farmout completes in the next week or even month, I can’t see the spud date being that far away. Maybe 3 or 4 months out after completion if Covid doesn’t get in the way.

Problem is that cash is a worry with the ceo pondering coupling up with another income generating company in exchange for some of the Ruvuma asset. IMO they need to announce completion of the farmout along with or quickly followed by a spud date in the not too distant future to get sentiment back. Also get the seismic going quick smart. After all, they’ve been flat out working weekends and the likes so it would be good to actually see some evidence of that. Maybe then the share price gain gain momentum.

Edgar, in what timescale are you thinking of that share price or probably a more tangible question is with what milestones reached?

You’re just the opposite end of the spectrum Apache. Maybe somewhere between I’d guess. Needs to get moving though and soon.

Tanzania, ‘huge for aminex’ is different depending on your starting point and his is from a big low. I doubt it’s along the same lines you are thinking or at least for quite a few years to come.

Probably a little premature to say at this point, but I agree BG re no rns suggesting they may think they’ll meet the deadline. Pure speculation but as each day passes.....

It makes sense from a development perspective to get the 3d seismic done ASAP.

RNS on Monday? Extension?

If an extension is needed, we should hear by Monday. I think it’s been 10 days in advance previously.

According to Aminex, the drill is not dependant on the dry seasons. That was the response I got anyway.

I’m hoping it’s more of a Parkinson’s thing, but it’s looking that way BG. I guess we’ll find out this week or Monday if that’s the case.
