in some respects nuko is correct imo, DES have the lowest market cap (£80 mil) out of all the FI oil companies (except ARG) and have oil too with more to come. Look at FOGL mcap, they as yet have no oil.

the major worry is patent expires on some of the larger selling drugs in the next few years!!

the company is only as good is its pipeline, i feel the share price has been up high due to lots of cost cutting (jobs, site shutdowns) and outsourcing, saves money short term but can be very risky for the future, the city likes that kind of stuff. The share price was at 36 quid 10 years ago then nosedived to 17 quid in the space of months!! On a positive AZ does give an excellent dividend, expected to be a least a quid this march.

guys be careful with pharma shares they can go tits up very quickly, brillinta has just been rejected by the FSA again.
