I havnt worked for them for 4 years why would i hold loyalty to a compound that moved to Cambridge and as a result of that lost my job as i didnt want to move "down south" . What i do know about are the staff some of whom are the best in the country at what they do;

i hope they do have something that can aid in the fight against cancer. Also CRUK have moved to AP after their fire in Manchester. I am not impressed with how they spend our money as they have replaced all the carpets (which were fine) frosted out the glass so no one can see what they are doing along with a lot of other non essential stuff. Must have cost 10's of thousand of pounds

you are wrong are you telling me that SAR are doing things better and more efficient than say AZ.Do you not think big pharma have seen all the data SARUM have ? Why have they not bought it?

going iv VS oral are very different beasts the whole PK (pharmakokinetic) pathway changes some drugs can not be administered orally for example compounds that are acid unstable. it normally takes millions of compounds to get to a clinical candidate chances of stuff making it to market are millions to 1

which means the compound is highly insoluble-for compounds to work they need to be soluble in aqueous media. suggest you lot look up log D

true enough; i learnt ages ago that i'm not too good at this investment lark so stopped piling money into it. Only shares that have done well for me are my AZ ones which i got through work share schemes.

i am locked in; in a moment of madness i bought at 4 p when the hype went into over drive, fortunately i didnt but many hence my i should have know better statement. live and learn

if it was a break through as you say then this would be fast tracked into every clinical trial going AZ and a plethora of other pharma have looked at chck inhibitors to no avail. I have been invested here for years ( i should have know better) and still the drug is not a going concern. Investing in small pharma is a hugh risk (rewards are enormous tho) but the chances of a drug making it are millions to one. Before everyone starts giving me grief this is just my opinion however i work in pharma research!
