I think what's messed-up the whole situation here is Petro china. And Matd not having proper permit in 2019 and then taking the Governor to court.

PC have been abusing the agreement and have been fined so many times for environmental damage.

I thing they will give Matd a chance because PC is still producing oil despite all the protest against them.
They had to start employing locals and contribute towards the local community.
