If they had everything in place they could have just put all equipment in place and start producing .
Or even get few storage tanks to store oil while testing the well and shut it down until border is open.

He should have got another drilling company ready like the rest . Others have managed to start drilling and have a work plan.

China must need oil to keep their economy going or are they buying Russian oil at discount.

Personally I don't think any rigs will be mobilised to do heron 2 or 3.
There was already a backlog . Even the heron 1 might be tricky with current china covid restrictions with no end in sight.

I don't know why people are selling at this crucial stage.

We only share information on here good or bad to keep everyone in the loop.

MATD Has had land issue since 2019 but still the share price went to 9p last year with no funding.

We have funding and drilling season weeks or months away. Price is holding well .

Little more patients and pressure on the management and this should be a winner.

Imagine 1 well producing 15-20mill a year where will the SP be..

Also I can't see the government letting Matd down. They want more exploration companies to come and make them money.
If they let matd down no one will ever be investing in Mongolia.

All metal and energy prices at all time high and Mongolia has the biggest consumer next door.

The Environmentalists can moan all they want but they are not going to drive away a multimillion dollar companies from Mongolia and hurt the Mongolian government.

Some of us have been here for years and this is the time to hold and gain the fruits of our patients within these few months.

Personally we have been in worst situation in 2019 and the SP didn't fall. Not due to getting kicked off the land..
It was news in mongolia on TV and on some websites.

We just need to put pressure on the management team by emailing them. That's the only way to get things moving. Otherwise they will just plod along and it will cost the holders and not the management.
They are getting paid for plodding along and not providing results.

I think the Environmentalists are playing clever aswell as they are active just before the drilling season starts.

If even 20 / 30 of us email the team they will have to some sort of response.
