Hi email --- just as a comparison to Stiperstones ---- I am with Halifax and to trade 50k of Tui with them would cost me £625. This is purely the FX fee of 1.25% , no other charges. As regards trading , same thing as Stiperstones. Cannot trade live myself , have to place order and then Halifax trades at their convenience so no guarantees on the executed price. Big negative of moving to Frankfurt. So not very good with Halifax. If anyone can suggest a trading platform with lower charges and the ability to trade live myself I would be grateful.

Down too much to sell out now Mike. In hindsight should have done it a while ago but blind optimism prevented me. Nice that your still optimistic but i think its going to be a long hard slog from here now , but I will stick it out and hope , until ( or if ) I reach my out level.

Another negative of the delisting from the Uk Mike. For us Uk investors the delisting from the Lse has been a total disaster. Not one positive! Oh the beauty of hindsight!

The move to Frankfurt has not caused the boon as predicted by some on here. I really didn't expect it to as I stated in the past. For me the move to Frankfurt has only caused increased trading costs. I don't and never have seen any positives with the delisting from London. Still hoping of course but cant see any light at the end of the Frankfurt tunnel!

If I wanted to do a 50k trade with Halifax via Frankfurt it would now cost me £625 with their 1.25% currency exchange rate they use ( because they don't trade Tui via Lse now ). You've obviously traded via Lse but from Monday you won't be able to do that so keep that in mind when you sell. That's if you havnt already done so.

Hi Robert. Did you buy them via Lse or Frankfurt? Just curious as to trading costs if you bought them via Fankfurt as i am looking for a platform with lower trading costs than Halifax.

Your platform is obviously still trading in the Lse. Who are you with Robert

Just done a dummy trade with Halifax to see how much I would pay in fees. Selling £40k of shares would cost £500 in fees. Whereas before it would have cost £9.50. Any cheaper platform options anyone?

Hi Mike , could I respectfully ask why are you so confident that mm's , ii's and private investors will suddenly start investing significantly as we join the MDAX on the 24th? If they wanted to invest , why wouldn't they have done it now when the sp is at the levels it has been over the last week's? But I do admire your enthusiasm.

What's that all about? Ebel buying and selling the same quantity of shares , just over 74000!

Point of interest for anyone on Halifax platform and anyone else. Today had confirmation from them that my shares have now been transferred to Frankfurt and are now showing up in my share dealing account.

Donalb --- I have to respectfully disagree with your assumption that the MDAX lising will make a significant uplift in the sp. In my opinion the listing will have no significant reaction on the sp whatsoever. The delisting from the Lse has already had a negative impact on the sp so there may be a certain amount of uplift when the listing is in place and settled but this will have nothing to do with the MDAX being any better a listing than the Lse. Only my personal opinion.

Hi Mike , dont get me wrong , i am hanging in there. I knew Tuis recovery was a long termer but I didn't think we would still be stuck on the starting line at this stage. Next date of note I suppose is delisting day and full entry into Frankfurt. Let's see!

I am astonished by the backtracking of the sp over the last couple of weeks. The half year results are in and are not bad but the sp declines. Where is the uplift of the sp going to come from now? Prior to the hyr I was quite optimistic that the sp would consistently grow after the results were announced. I was obviously wrong. Oil price is stable , Israel and Iran have shown they are prepared to attack each other which has brought a sort of stability in the area , Russia is achieving and sustaining their aims which is going to result in a diplomatic resolution so these 3 potential negatives i dont think are really affecting the sp badly. Holiday demand is stabilising and their are signs of price wars. The move solely to Frankfurt will not in my opinion bring any substantial sp increase and we still have the debt to deal with and of course there is no dividend. Sorry to sound negative but what should drive the sp , just isnt anymore. So i will repeat my question to this board. Just what is going to drive the sp up?

Have to say though it's getting harder to see where the upward momentum is going to come from considering all the recent unpredictable movements.

Let's be more optimistic and try a trajectory towards £8
