I liked this bit (but then we already knew this)

The 2020 dividend offers a yield of 6.7%, which analysts at Jefferies note is well ahead of the average for the global gold industry at 2.6%. They have a price target of 170p, which compares with 140p for UBS and 145p at Peel Hunt.

Different quantities different ratios larger moves many sell less and keep more.

So true 560 570 buy, reduce above 600 605.. not selling all. Rinse repeat and keep on racking.

The longer this goes on the more I pick up. I keep my average below £5 post each sale. When this hits £7 or £8 , I hope to be richly rewarded.

The dividend keeps the interest 67p - 80p, I do not really care. This stock at these levels pays for itself over time. Over the next 6 months , year, whenever the price will fluctuate lower perhaps but at times certainly higher.

Great to trade and add on dips. Patience will pay off.

FRB 50k at less than 1% pa, no thanks. Not for me.

Aiming for zero cost shares here or a larger holding with a sub £9 average. Well on track. Currently buy at low mid 1400s selling high 1500s. Works well.

When all is normal and the dividend resumes I will be delighted. I always keep a minimum core of 2000 shares here.

I feel there is momentum here today that could run into the next trading day

When I feel this I reduce, say by half of whta I considered selling, in order to bring the average down and then leave the remainder to rise out for the rest of the day.

I try to catch more of the momentum and at less than £6 for an additional trade it is sometimes worth it.

I often do that if I am near where I want to be.

If I have decided to reduce and go as far as getting a live quote, then I look at the difference - a few pence x whatever thousand shares is probably insignificant overall to your trading.

I usually just click while still there and it is done. Then look for the next target, especially in a down market,

I started re-racking at 309 on 18th, rebuying a portion of what I sold at 336.
Too premature in hindsight, but will work it through.
Don' t always time it perfectly but I expect to see 340+ before too long.

Certainly going for gold today.

I work on averages per tax year and reset. I hold a core in WG. Increasing the holding while reducing the average.

Buy as it goes down and sell when it goes up. Usually 3/4 tranches is sufficient for me.

This is one of my core stocks so I work on increasing the quantity while keeping average cost down around. The racking tranches are in additional.

It seems this rise will hold, (I reduced some at 279, bought at 263 yesterday, every little helps. In hindsight a bit premature as it looks like this rise is holding and may well scoot up on Monday again.

Any profitable trades are good.

Started racking part of my 428p sale on the 19th March. Will increase rack at 396 382 363 but doulbt there will be filled atm.

They sure have spoilt my fun with no mad moves at the open for a while. i should have kept quiet.

The tight range is really frustrating, but most have 8.18p of dividend coming, plus moving now off the near term bottom.

My alert is set to ping around 260 270 level and then i will reassess.

A bid would be a nice bonus. Who knows?

Must be more than oversold and the oil price.

1st April Saudi expected to announce no change so that should support price of oil near term.

Will the low price weed out speculative bid interest?
