PC - it wasn't directed at you, just followed your post. Sorry if it seemed that way. It was a general comment about the need for tax revenues and the potentially large amounts of money we could make from what is essentially gambling; albeit well researched by some and, to be fair, in a sector which will do some good.

An alternative view that i dont expect many to share. We are all in the fortunate position of having spare cash to "invest" in shares. If we make a shed load of cash from a shrewd investment, it wouldnt hurt to pay a bit of CGT to help the country at present. Might go towards a nurse or doctor who might save someone's life. I am actually amazed that ISA allowances haven't been targeted as this would be a ready source of income to a cash strapped government. Many people have lost their jobs through no fault of their own and would love to have some spare cash. And many people can only dream of paying into a pension pot. Just a thought as we are all dreaming of multi-bagging here.

Wood have $1bn of debt! I have reservations on that score. But clearly they have been employed by Eqtec for review, so let see what they say.

Any views on the shape the chart is making? Not even sure chart patterns are relevant to volatile price movements?

Technically i think they were over bought. Through RSI at 80% last week. And who knows what fair value is? Just stating a market cap isn't very convincing. Trying to estimate revenues and profit might give us a clue. Loads of potential here but need to deliver on this.

B2 - looks like you might get your 1.8. Still sat on my hands.

B2 - IMO it is not so much about whether Eqtec is over or under valued, it is how quickly sentiment can change. We have witnessed a 5 to 6 x increase in SP in a couple of months. Eqtec has great potential over the next couple of years, when revenues will start to backup the potential. But money is flowing in and out of shares quickly in the present, unprecedented times. Where this will settle in the short-term is anyone's guess. I am likely to sit on my hands, which longer-term will be ok. But there is definitely money to be made by the brave. Let's hope fortune favours the indecisive, ie me, here.

Aej - thanks for the link. Probably sensible advice from Align, though a bit lazy to restate their target price, which must be in need of review. However, this could indeed send SP lower still in short-term until further significant news from Eqtec.

A deal in Greece every 6 months or so would be good. Is that over-optimistic? Whilst Wood would bring a breadth of experience and contacts, not sure where they'd get cash for a stake. $1b in debt according to accounts.

This is 2nd project announced in Greece. Had Larisa last year. Same German partner, different Greek one. But EcoHellas mentioned in RNS. As allowing this new collaboration. Any thoughts on this latter point.?

Yes, "Greece is the word". These smaller projects with German and Greek partners could be bread and butter. Think Larisa took 6 minths from MOU to financial closure. They might get quicker as time goes and familiarity grows.

First thanks to Stokey for update. As i recall, part of Eqtec move to dismiss was that Aries original action was woefully inadequate. Seems Aries are now trying to argue that Aries couldn't provide detail as Eqtec were secretive about their tech.

Just reading back over the RNS from Monday. And the previous reprofiling from June last year. It is good news that Riverfort debt will be repaid but do they still hold substantial warrants?

Timing not great though. Still means 40m shares to work through.

Agree Europe could be a good earner and therefore invite investment from there. Especially with our German partners working with us in Greece and Balkans. Smaller scale projects but bit quicker to generate income.

Aandi - i don't think i am going to get a very high mark for the homework you set me ?? As you said in a post after AGM, difficult to know timing of payments and capex of future projects.

So just to give an example , assuming £50m revenue for 2021 (a bit higher than Align and £ not €). And using a P/E of 15. And 7bn shares, gives close to 11p.

Apologies for being a party-pooper but is anyone more expert than me able to estimate a market cap based on updating the Align research note of July? In that they had forecast revenues of €40m for 2021. I would love any of the "for fun" SP predictions to come true but very few of our peers have much revenue coming in yet. We are clearly riding a wave at the moment but i for one would welcome a bit of correlation between market cap and potential revenues. Rather than just peer company relativities. Albeit that Align did some of this in their note. Cheers MU.
