f430 - mmm yes i was looking for that long on the 200ma but it hit the support around 1485 and ran off without me! it'd be quite a drop to get to it now and i just cannot see it but u never know

farmer - well it is exactly two weeks today - got a week and a half before we head to Sicily so making the most of it right now!! if anyone cares i did post somewhere that silver broke out of its inverse h&s at the 3700 neckline so the pullback could be heading there (i got stopped out my long - it was a silly trade) so i've tucked an order around 3700 just in case

long on silver, shorting gold down to 1580 hopefully then long from there. time to get those positional on commods again I think!

Ok silver charged up today. It's broke the inverse around 3700 so I'd look for a retest on that so I've clocked some profits and looking for around 3700

silver is powering through that inverse - target 4000...

what a difference a day makes eh...

50% retrace from 7716 is 7579 and there does happen to be some real support around that area. maybe that's where the $ is headed.

i dont know. i can't see how the strength is in the $...i cant see any strength anywhere come to think of it!

right profits taken. i think the $ could have another run at $77 here and therefore i'm out pending potential double bottoms on ftse/dow! we'll just have carnage is the $ breaks out of its downtrend...

just looking at the DAX - ludicrous...i just pray this $ has a bad week now. at the end of the day the US still hasnt agreed a solution to avoid August debt default and that will play on minds. put the techs in and you got a recipe for big profits this month

I suppose the potential curve ball to all this is the Italian stress tests. Now I think they should pass them this time round - almost makes the news fit with the trends/supports as so often happens.
