brownboy - haha just like me. i thought lets not be silly and just make sure it plays out as it should. which is did luckily! i've held - just needs to break 9700 all over again but that'll do nicely so far!!

brownboy - dont be too worried just yet. GOLD has hit the 200ma in july for the last two years. It's a long month yet but I'd target that 200ma for a long term trade!

my GOLD short from yesertday doesn't look too healthy but its small numbers on that pp so i'm happy to keep that short running as I can take the volatility with that. I will open a long anyway on a retrace to 1520 just to catch something which, if it fails, i wont be too upset as my short will catch the fall hopefully! this might just work...

ok GOLD broke above its long term daily resistance. if it retests 1520 i'm long.
