Not all patients that require cannabis based products whether cannabinoids or not can acquire them in this country yet. There was the girl with epilepsy whose mother went to Holland to buy and the drugs were taken from her at customs. That was well covered on our local news. I believe there is a cannabinoid for epilepsy so medical cannabinoids are not generally available yet. Also Dan did say some of the commercially available CBDs were rubbish (my own choice of words) as they were the wrong strength for any effect. So a lot of changes are required which is why he has contracted with a Canadian company as the UK legislation is not yet in place. So the BBC news is very relevant.

PS this is how a typical co is valued and shows on historic terms this co is already undervalued. This co is not typical and should not be valued in this way there is no concept here of what this co is capable.

The first set of figures are from the accounts and confirmed in RNS’s. The eg after with a conservative £10m shows the effect of having a low cost model on the relation of revenue to price. Everything goes to the bottom line costs remain relatively static. £10m is not demanding.

If a simple extrapolation is done and say £10m royalties are received with running costs of £1.5m gives £8.5m at a p/e of 20 gives a value of £170m more than 4 times current value does not take much for this share price to escalate. This has stratospheric possibilities!!

Just had another look. Annual costs included exceptional items of just under £1m one off items to do with the reverse takeover . Makes numbers for 2020 even better. Running costs are £1.5m per annum with revenue Ytd so far of £3.4m with more to come. Take a pe of 20 (May be understated given royalty income) on current numbers gives a value of £38m. On current NAV only leaves a £3m balance for everything else bargain for new investors probably.

Olderbutwiser- yes the valuation is interesting I do not believe many have got their head round the value of the cocrystal tech the focus has been on the resulting drugs. There are not many companies that can develop so many opportunities in the pharma world most newbie bios are lucky to produce one product.

I see from a cursory look at the accounts cash was low at 31st March and the directors had given the company interest free loans albeit small amounts. That shows true commitment to us shareholders and that deserves a thank you as not many would do that. I see the loss was £1.6m, revenue £600k so running costs £2.2m including costs of nfx001 trials. For current year revenue is already £2.5m from China and £1m from Ebers so £3.5m with more to come. In his last interview Dan said rest of world rights for nfx001 would have higher up front payments and lower royalties.

Is this a clue of what is to come for the Ebers deal. If it is it is super huge. A quote from Dan in the article below;
