These articles have been written before the results of the latest drill which poked to see if they could upgrade the field even further.
It will be interesting to hear why they decided not to test what appears to be a discovery lower down.. articles are pointing out it's something that warranted testing.. unexpected sand body? Is it 180m thick? Under pressure? Significant Gas shows? a pressure spike to higher than well design tolerance?
Will they now plan a lower depth on IE4? Redesign the well to allow for higher pressure and temp in an unexpected sand zone?
All sounds exciting to me..
I bet they are! Possible additional discovery lower down.. sounds like they did not test to due high pressures and possible well stability issues but they certainly had a wee look :-)
