The board are stepping up following the downturn.. they chose to wait it out rather than dilute the hell out of this share. Probably something to do with the size of their holdings. Since the industry has picked up, they are going for it. From June 17 - Jan 18 they have conducted new 2D data, CPR and the farm out process.. we are in Both Stellar's and oilers hands now.

Basically exactly what Jimarillo is saying :-) I didn't share the same 'it's got to be completed by' until that eco article which does give the sense of urgency before C1 results.. (82% statistical data and of course they know this, plus oil has already been extracted to the surface from the basin, it's just a matter of finding thicker zones or perhaps I could go as far as saying 'the sweet spot?' Maybe that's too much) The BIG question is.. is it us/our assets they are after??..

I read it as this.. (imo) The company presented to the money, and received the ok.. (presented by chief exec etc) 10th Sep.. now the company backed up by the money are presenting it to the investors.. 18th Sep (the money calling for the presentation)

As much as I had hoped it's a farm out deal on the cards as our prospect is (imo) one of the best in the basin following the research we've conducted (trap, seepage, oil window, ancient sand channels etc) I'm coming round to the same conclusion as you.. we are vulnerable and easy prey..

That would be amazing to have AEC (via ECO) and Exxon on board together but I get the sense of competition rather than linking up.

Is it normal for these companies to know what others are 'currently' (not completed) going for? Not so hush hush? Or is it because they are interested in the same blocks bidding against each other?

Both the majors... Rosneft and Repsol will be looking... :-)

But looking at the 2018 licence map it looks to me as though no one holds that licence... hence my rumblings yesterday about them talking about the prospectives north of there block.. Ours..

This suggests to me they are..It seriously looks as though it is in reference to our block..

Namcor have interpreted an adjacent area to Delta as an oil-prone structure (they do not cite a gas case)

Looking at GBP’s image on the bottom of the page we can clearly see two prospects, one being Gembrok on PEL 29 coloured in yellow and the other, although cut off, appears to extend into PEL 10.

2.3 Oil seeps/slicks

The NPA report discusses a number of oil slicks in the east of the 0010 Licence, which they categorise as evidence that either oil was generated near the Namibian coast, or oil-spills from passing vessels, or seeps from a trap alongside gas bubbles. They note that the slicks are not over any closures.

Could the oil seeps be from Gembrok only identified in the 2017 2D data repeating along the faulted flanks be drifting east? Clearly the reference to adjacent block interpretation’s look like the Alpha, gamma and Delta prospects in TRP’s CPR?
