IF everyone thinks we are just going to shut down a pipeline just for us they are sadly mistaken. The whole infastructure from the well to the pipeline has to be in place on time to cut into the line. The line has to be depressurised and probably pigged. This is a pre planned operation from all the companies already using the line. "I have found oil so shut down everything because we are important" **** off! That does and will not happen. The timing of everything being in place is crucial as to when the line is closed for maintenance and we can hook up into it. Probably summer and you do not want any gas in the lines in winter due to hydrates forming. Keep it moving all is fine. I do not know but I am stating there will be no oil from Alkaid this year. Fact.

So, I take it Texas does not exist anymore. One well drilled at Polk properly would fund it all at 1500 BOEPD. I yet again do not get it! As Simon said off to the beach to contemplate life in general.

Looks good up there for 2021. What we going to do till then? An income from Texas should be on the cards right now. Never mind the geology crap. They know where to drill and should be drilling to the right now in Texas. I do not get it at all.

We waited years for the production facilities and contracts to be put in and now we don't use them. The more I think, it will be a sidetrack because otherwise they would announce the building of a pad and cellar in Polk next to VOBM1. They probably can not get a rig either. Hopefully all good at end of month!!!!

If they want to keep it producing drill a new well. They have the money and if it comes in at 1500 boepd as it should that will be fine. The share price will not move without something constructive done this summer. There is no timetable. Drilling a well in Polk is straight forward. Not a lot of analysis there. Tyler is a different ball game though.
Argue as much as you want. I do not care anymore but they need to get the finger out in Texas.

A plan what they are going to do would be nice. Alkaid will not be on line this year I think. Polk and Tyler have production facilities in place. Use them. We need revenue from somewhere.

How complicated is Polk to drill? As far as I can see just put a pad in beside the well and drill again. There was nothing wrong with the way it was drilled and the flow rates until some idiot managed to collapse the casing. That is human error unless Pantheon tell me any different.
We need a programme for Texas this year and we need it now! We need a well that can pay for the rest of the year. The pipeline is there and the facilities to produce. Use them.
Tyler is another question mark? The Permian basin is very busy and probably can not get a decent rig for 1 well. Push the boat out and go for a HP/HT rig on a 2 well contract and we might get some interest. As it is nothing is said,

Yet again we have no plans. Where is the drilling programme? Polk first, generate some revenue and then drill Tyler Eagleford finally. Go back 5 years and drill there. Last well in Tyler could not be completed as they run out of casing strings. DO NOT drill into there again. Keep it simple and go. I could write the drilling programme in one day for both wells without the information they have. What is the problem now? Vision are gone and we have some hot shots now so what are they doing?

Meanwhile still don't have a plan for Texas. I have had one for years. I do not have the lithology but have watched every well they have fucked up and could have drilled one by now. They still have not.

Do we have 240 feet vertically? So we will drill a horizontal well through 6feet of rock depending on up dip and down dip? Why was only 6 feet perforated?
Back to Texas. How did they collapse the casing? You need a differential pressure of about 8000 psi between inside and outside. No one has ever answered that question and that is a beauty.

If I had 240 feet of pay, why would I need to go horizontal? That is the way it is done is not always right. PANR and Vision do what they do in Texas. They design a well that ends up with 2 7/8 tubing. *******s. They are still doing this onshore. North Sea in the nineties changed all that shit and we drilled for 4,5,5.5" tubing. The wells were coming in at 4000 to 15000 barrels a day basically vertical over 200 feet. If you think the Americans know how to drill wells you have it wrong. BP drilled Macondo. There was not one British person involved offshore or onshore until the relief wells were drilled.

While drilling through the 2 upper zones water cut would have been seen. Logging SHOULD have told them as well. I never trusted this but kept my mouth shut.
Back to Texas it is. How have they not got a plan in place already. Drill a new well in Polk(60 days) and then the big one in Tyler. Make an impact for a change. They now have the people I think that can handle a BHP in excess of 15000 psi. Still wondering what to do in Polk is a joke. It is f...…. obvious.

Remember the environment they are working in. Everything including pipes on surface to separator and to flare are Freezing. All has to be kept warm enough to flow the well. They are experts at this in Alaska. All will be ready to do. They know what they are doing up there unlike the 5 years of Vision in Texas which really gets to me.
News next week sometime I hope. Tested Zoi very fast but only perforated 6 feet. IMO should be testing now. How long? I have no idea as usual.

Zoi should be sealed off now. West Sak should be perforated and testing now IMO. Next week news on this I hope. Could be free flowing with nitrogen. No frac needed and again good news.

I have to update my last statement. They perforated 6 feet. They set a packer above and fracced the bottom of the hole. They will have fracced all of the 240 feet. The fact it is tight means fissures could have opened up to allow oil out. They did not frac 6 feet. That is impossible to do. End of

I have not a clue. I would love to think that 4000Bopd were there. The fact they fracced does not mean they fracced 6 feet. They fracced it all. Whatever opened up is the 100 BOPD. Horizontally drilled in the future a different story.

Who the hell perforates 6feet out of 240.? And then frac it. Perforation guns are usually a minimum of 40feet. That does not make sense to me unless the guns mis-fired and they went ahead anyway. Still good but yet again beyond my logic.

Yet again you are right to question this. I have given up predicting what these people are doing anymore. From my way of thought(I did not know that OBM was used in most land wells in Canada ) I just naturally assumed it would be having drilled a lot of wells.
If you know you have clays try to case them off. Personally I have never drilled shallow wells. Clays are usually higher up the hole and I am used to 15000 feet wells. I am just wondering if you are right in your opinion and that could have been salvaged at some point. By overbalance I also mean about 200/300 psi against formation pressure. Anything over that would create other problems. You should see losses when drilling but if the clays are swelling the losses will be minimal.
