Agreed the last 2 RNS were deviating away from the well. Not horizontally!! Again not a clue what they are up to.

Why was money mentioned? Would have been fine without that. Must be a reason???/

The forties in North Sea have been producing for 50 years. About 13 years ago we drilled through the field which was very tricky. Underneath was another area which was HP/HT. That was never known or thought to exist. That is what is possible.

The extra cost was to drill a pilot hole to deeper depths. They now know what is there. That is good news as it looks like it hit the targets down there. They have more information now and will have looked at for the future.

Xmas tree on complete with choke. Not only gas,oil and water but sand from the frac. The choke will be abraised by all. Next point is the teat seperator. Gas goes to flare. Oil collected and water taken out. Sand will sit at bottom of the seperator. Needs to be cleaned out periodically. Hence the intermittent flow and flare. Have to shut the well in to change choke and clean out seperator.

DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS. I have no more information than you all. The last horizontal I drilled was 12 years ago. HP/HT so low pressure reservoirs anywhere in the world I never drilled. Always 10 to 15k resevoirs. This is not that.

Staz, I read all the posts on here. You are ok. How many drill floors have you been on? How many drilling operations? Completions? HP/HT wells Blowouts? Close the well and figure out what next? None.

They know what they are doing. They got this far. Back pressure on the well is crucial. The tree is 3 " I think and the choke is maybe 1/4 inch so the friction in it is large. Hence intermittent flows till the sand from the frac is cleared out. I have no idea of the end result.

The choke is a crucial piece now. Flowing back water and sand from frac goes through the Xmas tree. The valves are open on the tree. The choke holds back pressure. The choke will internally wear out. Needs to be changed. Therefore the well has to be shut in on the tree to Change the choke. Does not take long but continual flow is very restricted. Until the sand is cleared this will be a problem.

At least my drilling out plugs and completion fears have been alleviated. Would have been nice to know that. So they are holding back pressure on the choke. Have to change out frequently the internals as sand will wear the internals. Good luck.

all it would take was a rns stating all the plugs were drilled out and completion is in the well. not tricky to say. positive as ****. but nothing. said it last week and hope not to say it next week. i am so long here and down so not shorting.

Would be nice to know what they have done on a well in that time? Lights flickering in the background. I have been invested here for far longer than most. I want some news. Every week this drags on.........
