So the well was drilled in July August. Permit to flare was asked for after the well drilled? This time they know I hope they have gas. So start drilling. Go through the zone for the horizontal. If gas and oil present apply for flaring. Meanwhile drill the lower zones while waiting. This is not tricky. If they applied for a flare permit now AND they said 3 months. They would waste a month.

Whilst drilling that permit should not be needed. When they know gas is there then they can ask for the permit and move in the equipment. No point before!

Hopefully next week on Telfer. Hopefully some bonus drill results as well. Everyone chill out.

Spud should be this week. Pilot hole to the bottom. Drilled at angle so the kick off into the zone and horizontal is easy. The horizontal is planned above the unexplored bottom zones. Good luck. Hope this one goes alright.

What does that mean? A day before. I would not mobilise everything to wait a day. All should be ready especially as this well has a long time flow test at the end.
