It really is a momentous RNS when I reread it, my frustration is the lack of immediate rise in the share price, meaning snorters could get out and new buyers could get in at a price lower than 2hat I paid and without the stress along the way!

I think the problem here is this is all retail investment and nearly everyone is already in who wanted to be. Perhaps there is not the short term demand for the SP to rise substantially. For me it is now a very obvious long term hold for when the company starts making money next year, but so many retail investors are impatient and will be out by then. I won't be one

I do wonder if there is naked too short and going on here, with the expectation for dilution in the future. You called need to start turning out some profit or look for non dilutive funding where needed to put a stop to this. Once it is certain UKOG can pay for itself, these wankers will have to close

The only sort of person who sits about deramping a share they have left is someone who is scared they are going to miss out and are trying to buy back in.

Come on Matlock, you're better than that surely. We know you sold already but don't be one of those guys who comes back on shares they sold and start plucking figures from the air and doom mongering in an attempt to get back in for fear of missing out.

Becuase as Lenigas says. this is an entirely retail play and most private investors are idiots, scared easily, and sell too quickly. The sensible ones will buy on dips, and when news like this lands without budging the SP.

The fact is there just arent enough sensible private investors to make this fly yet, and certainly not enough willing to hold for another year before the majors start showing interest.

They have to make a mandatory offer for takeover when they hit 30%, but I think they can pretty much choose the level of the offer. I need to read through 9.1 of the takeover legislation properly but it reads like they could just offer 0.0000001 to mean they have no chance of taking over, and I guess continue to build to above 30%.
