samo1337, the point is that the families/directors relative stupidity is what surprises me here, the directors don't seem to realise that their continuous small-ish sales of shares are hurting THEM more than anyone in the long run.

They may not need us to fund the company, but they certainly need us to a) hold up and build up the share price and b) to buy their shares when they want to sell. The director sales have put at the very least a medium-term dampener on the share price and PI confidence has taken a battering in the belief they will do it again and again. Without the director sales of the past where do you think this would be sitting now? 250ish would be my best guess. How much more would they personally be worth if the share price was at that level now?

In terms of actually value they have hurt themselves the most out of anybody.

...Although I'm not convinced price will rocket whilst there are big buyers and potentially sellers behind the scene. They don't really want to encourage quick profit for the PI if they are looking to fill orders for the II

I do wonder when Woodford is finished buying whether we will 'coincidentally' get the NIH results very soon after, and possibly that RNS for a joint venture for the next stage trials

16th July was the last date HVO had any real volume traded, any moves since can be largely ignored as the standard ebb and flow.

I appreciate being down on a position isn't a nice feeling, but it is only a concern when there is news behind it or at very least significant volume and neither exist here at present.

There aren't many shares that will drift UP whilst waiting for news unless that news has a specific date such as end of year results.

Don't sweat these moves guys and accumulate if you have the cash to do so. There has been under £5k traded for the whole of today so far, if you are that worried about moves on no volume then buy a few K here and there and the price will hold up better

Can currently buy 25k vs sell they will accept up to 90k shares so I think there is a big buyer lurking, probably woodford still

I'm not convinced anything is going on behind the scenes here. I have followed IQE for a while and considered buying a fair few times, then this article put the nail in that coffin by putting me off long term. I suspect some holders were put off too

If your average is well above the current levels, keep an eye on the technicals and get ready for a bounce - use them to find a point to lower your average.

Worst case scenario looks to be about 0.75, though I'm not convinced it will hit that again

Don't underestimate the number of paid derampers on all of the boards but even more likely is that the ones that hang around bashing a share either missed their entry point, want a better entry point, sold out too soon, lost money shorting, or as you say; are just lying about not having a position.
