Couple that with a £18.5k buy at close on friday, combined with a needless drop by MMs on the same day and this was bound to fly today.

I do wonder if MMs know that an RNS is logged a day early (although not its contents). And use the balance of probability to make a decision on the SP. Hence they drop it on Friday in the belief it will be a good RNS and they will be holding a tonne of cheap shares

Surely we are here because woodford reached his tragedy before lansdown had? Woodford got to his 30% so couldn't buy more yet lansdown had 80 million left to sell at last rns. Their selling pressure continued without the buying pressure to keep it stable?

To be fair, anyone who "sold up", can still buy back in cheaper (or the same) as what they sold out for.

Yes, this move does look like the work of market makers, just find it odd they allowed the Buy down to 0.91 rather than widening the spread, it allowed a decent spreadbet opportunity.
