If Artemis were to make a viable discovery on their land adjacent Havieron surely the only sensible solution is some form of tying it all together with GGP/Newcrest however that may work out. Will definitely be interesting. Would/could GGP acquire Artemis and the whole thing be worked into the Havieron JV.No doubt those with a far bigger interest in this than me have certainly given it consideration.
Shaun Day does seem keen to keep stressing possible inorganic growth opportunities, just my probably naive thinking.

Tallchaps post re GGPs latest presentation clearly stating commodities they are focused on as Gold, Copper andNickel seems to have disappeared.

For many years my partner had mithered me about us getting a dog.
Whilst I wasn’t totally averse to getting a dog, we both at the time worked full time and I regularly worked away from home so I kept dodging the issue. When the requests to get a dog became too much, in order to buy time I think in 2019 I said if Greatland Gold get to 10p we can get a dog. At the time I thought 10p might happen but I was thinking more like in maybe 4 years or so!
It didn’t buy me much time, I think by the time we actually got him we were well into the 20s!
This is why my dog is named Maximus after Havieron.
Exit prices come and go but a dog is for life.

I see from the RNS that the power station is now operational at Havieron. I think I recall from a week or so ago discussions regarding new machinery for the decline that will soon be in use requiring a reliable and higher rated electrical supply so good news regarding this.

Ha ha, I’ve had the Greatland Gormless Grin for some time now, and it just keeps getting bigger.

Got to admit I had been a bit blase’ about the last few sets of drilling results, was more than happy not to stop up and wait until the morning to read them. Not that they weren’t good or interesting but I’m sure you get where I’m coming from. Anyway much more enthusiastic about these latest ones due Wednesday night.

Like Droverman I have also used the simplified box section method to do my sanity check calcs. In the past, erring on the cautious side in some areas like the SG to allow for anywhere I might be being over optimistic. Came up with about 7Moz for the initial MRE but used areas where there had not,at the time, been enough infill drilling done.
Also use my lighthearted Cadbury’s tub of Roses chocolates on top of a bonus box underneath to visualise it. Both boxes filled with Golden barrels and other decreasing value goodies.
Bamp’s calculations are far more detailed! Looks like he’s got the measure of Havieron like he and many others have the measure of other recent posters. Anyone writing so many contradictions has to be a wind up.

I imagine the world of highly experienced technical mining personnel is a rather small circle, therefore it’s no surprise at all that a lot have had previous associations with Newcrest.

Another Havieron, half Havieron, quarter Havieron or even 3 times Havieron would be very nice ( I think the Havieron may be adopted as an SI unit for measuring gold discoveries ) but if not I’m happy to be a 1 Hav.rather than a Hav. not.

I’ve said it before though I certainly wouldn’t bet my house on us not finding something else worth mining.

I have no idea what GH has definitely done or not done.
But if he has sold/ is selling the majority or all of his shares then he has made a very good return on his outlay however you look at it.
Maybe it’s just a case of a bird in the hand etc. or he’s just very happy with his lot, I know I would be.

One thing from Shaun’s latest interview is another plus I had surprisingly failed to take into consideration before, and that is that Telfer not only provides the necessary infrastructure required to progress this rapidly, but just as important they have the workforce with exactly the right skill set, safety ethos, motivation and vast experience to bring Havieron online. Definitely a big positive.
