Hi Bamps, yes JV is the way.
SD seems to be talking understandably about not being averse to further JV’s.
I don’t know the circumstances regarding his departure from Northern Star ( not that it would affect any business decision anyway ) but may be possibilities with them on other sites.
A Tasmania JV. or sale?

Regarding the talk of drilling at Ernest Giles next year, do Newmont still have any interest or hold over it at all? Seem to remember there was some kind of NDA over the existing results.
Wonder if it’s another possible JV?

Everyone and their dog may not know yet how big Havieron is going to be, but me and my dog have a good idea. Maximus the dog is proud to be named after Greatland Gold’s best find (so far).
I think I recall GH stating even early on In the drilling along the lines of that the deep stuff would be coming out in future generations because there’s plenty to go at before they get to that.......that’s how big it is.

The way it’s going the Havieron mine will need a subterranean party wall agreement with Artemis.

Looks like Artemis genuinely can play the nearology card.

I think the fact that without Havieron Telfer would have to shut slightly makes the mathematical comparison not so simple,amongst other factors. That is it could be argued that Havieron’s value to NCM is more of a stabilising factor more than increasing the value in the same way it will increase GGP’s.
Not that I am commenting on the £1 by year end GGP SP BTW :o)

I fully accept the arguments of the odds stacked against us finding another Havieron.
But turning it on its head, just a thought, how much would i be prepared to risk betting on us NOT making another good discovery? Personally I certainly wouldn’t bet my house on it anyway.

Mushroom, I’m just preparing for Max the dog’s second walk of the day. Living in the Pennines no long walk on the flats for us. Our first walk of the day we usually set off just as the markets are opening having checked for any RNS before we go, after climbing for half an hour we may pause or paws to check the SP on the phone. Max will give me a glance and recently I’ll just shrug my shoulders and off we go again. But one day not too long from now he’ll or heel look at me I’ll give a small smile, we’ll look down from the moors at the patchwork of fields bordered by dry stone walls and he will know that I will be buying one of those fields just for his entertainment.
Max is short for Maximus, named after Havieron.

Hi Shareman, I am assuming the Shutdown is a short term maintenance operation to carry out repairs upgrades and general maintenance that cannot be done whilst in operation and then it will restart. These are planned events.

I think If I recall correctly Callum did give credit to the GGP team present AND past and yes I am sure Gervaise and Callum are both happy with the resulting situation of their working together, so banish all sadness.
