I think it will back in the 420 - 500 range when it stabilises (unless PFC gets charged but then the reverse is true if investigation is drop)

Making a charge for 955, get through that and its circa 1145 before I can see any sort of resistance....

Britain's CMC Markets said on Thursday net operating income came in above its expectations in the third quarter, as it partly benefited from a flurry of online trading, dubbed as the "Santa Claus" rally, in the final days of 2019.

The company, which hiked its full-year target after a strong first-half performance last year, said net operating income for the year is expected to be above analysts' consensus range.

I think they are better than the market expected which is why they are up. Revenue flat , profit down 10% after extra costs and regs

Based solely on fundamentals we are in the region now, but depends on dividend.

We have nearly 9% total short so a massive amount of buying pressure as these reduce, especially if dividend is circa 65p on results as forecast so could easy rocket to 1200 and dont be surprised if their are more director buys around the corner

PS Technically I have resistance at 955 (which we've just bounced off) but once through Im getting 1145

Agreed even worst case scenario wind energy is another revenue stream. If you can become one of the more experience service companies in this area it can only open up more potential revenue and ticks all the green boxes which in itself attracts a niche certain type of investor.

We could well go sideways or osculate between 900-950 until next month results

At which point I think it will rocket into the 1100-1200

Look to the directors buys rather than short term fluctuations (as frustrating as it is!)

Wood Group's trading update is decent, higher annual earning and profit inline with market expectations...hopefully bodes well for PFC

Dont forget all documentation that either side (SFO/Defendant) intends to rely upon as evidence will already been served on the opposition, giving full disclosure to the other party. Hence with someone already admitting guilt, council would strongly advise the other 4 to do the same if they had anything like concrete evidence.

Dont think they will manage to get a closed court at Crown, but not 100%

Basil Jarah has plead guilty? The trial is VS Ziad, Akle, Paul Bond and Stephen Whiteley

So it all depends on the alleged linked Unaoil ->PFC. If its through one of the these defendants and the case is dismissed / not guilty then the link collapses. If the link was via Jarah I would have thought they would have already brought direct charges to PFC as the evidence would already be disclosed.

Finally IMHO the 4 defendants have a very strong chance of not guilty if Jarah is holding his hands up and saying "its all me, they knew nothing". Now if the SFO had concrete evident to contradict this , the others would also have gone guilty and not choose trial, given that the disclosure of documentation would have shown this months ago.

Lufkin pending sentence is independent of this but I dont believe there can be any impact on PFC regarding this as again no direct charges have been brought against the company.
