You've hit the nailed in head there. I don't think it's a coincidence I think it's a mistake, why over time as the market starts to understand the business machine of Plus will be corrected to the great benefit of its shareholders.

Clearly this will be a bumpy ride but as you say picking dividends up as we go is always nice

Whilst I dont disagree with transparency the thing with the PnL is that its all on paper. Dont forget the cash is still sat in the PLUS account, hardly any of that has been drawn, so you cant update the market every week or so with PnL when all of it hypothetical.

As soon as the market moves down (and I still believe we are in for a major crash) that PnL is wiped out.

Unfortunately you just need to look at the potential jobless figures Vs the 9 million furloughed etc etc

Most of the market is in cuckoo land imho, prices reverting back when everything is far from ok...

ZXX This is what many don't understand and im not sure how many more times they need to repeat:-

Over the last SIX years customer PnL has represented just ONE PERCENT of revenue.

Also the market is missing the new FX charge starting on the 14/6 which should see about a 10% lift in revenue....

28/04 Substantially ahead of current consensus estimates, as revised following the Q1 trading update on 7 April.

07/04 revenue and profitability for the full year are expected to be substantially ahead of current consensus expectations.

If they come back on monday @ 1199.50 then they will only be filled if sellers agree to match that price. This is unlikely given that volume (not enough liquidity). There wont be enough volume until the closing auction again., so they may wait until and then and try again. Depending on the auction price of course. They may have to up their offer price...

Absolute shenanigans.....200,000 Volume BUY at 1199.50 has just NOT been filled at auction close, so there's massive buys waiting to get in cheap here

I noticed in the auction last night a fund trying to push the price down with a volume of 100,000 (presumably borrowed) shares (mainly why the UT went through as a sell)

As soon as they run out of stock and the panic sellers / profit takers dry up this will reverse just as quick. Nothing fundamentally has changed. Well actually it has ! Its been strengthened yet again by IG's very positive update yesterday! (also down again 3%)

Crazy times, let the mm's and funds mess about and look long/er term..nevertheless frustrating I cant top up more

Well they didnt last long (the buys), soon got sucked up. Now looking like a tree shake to me

I think we may have seen / be seeing a small temporary short increase probably on the back of the vix and 1300ish barrier we have been pushing for some time

It's a pain but they may well close out soon causing the reverse.

Let's not forget , long term , there are far too many positives in the near future (dividends intact, special d? Directors buys?, Buy backs, trading update, interims, 2020 profit all the chart, 21 forecast a joke)

That doesn't mean it won't pull back but long term I see no better option across all the FTSE imho dyor

ASIC issued a document on 6/5/20 and its looking like it will enact early 2021. However most analysts I know are already factoring this into their 2021 calculations they still blow every broker estimate out of the water i every case.

In terms of broker coverage this must be amongst the worst , if not the worse, in the FTSE250 imho

PS i forgot to add I think this sector over the last week has pulled back a little maybe due to the flattening of the VIX

I feel this is quite a large mistake (for those investing in other sectors) as a second wave of the virus is almost guaranteed as are the influx of profit warnings and worse

That is exactly the problem combined with inept brokers who in some cases their calculations have glaring errors and others who simply cant be bothered to analysis fully and rush out a quick job.

Add to that the fact its a tempting stock to trade given no stamp duty (although IMHO so volatile with low/er volume at present its not a good choice) and you have a market that is not to sure what to do with it (in general)

Im hoping the dividend announcement combined with some accurate broker analysis (especially 2021 earning) will really kick this on, as it should
