Apologies for this simple question. I have never been in a share that has been taken over by another company. I assume it is good for BP. So....when a company is taken over, for example BP, then the shares just switch and therefore rise? It´s a foregone conclusion?

I don´t want a bounce. I sold out of BP last week and started buying Rio when it hit 45 and continue to buy as it falls. This is a once in a lifetime chance to get in to a Super Stock at ridiculous prices. When all this Tariff sh*t clears then it will be back up to the 50 to 55 range. An easy 20% to 30% gain when the dust settles !

Better than expected. Well, that´s not so bad !

So, for someone that has no idea of figures - is this RNS as expected, better or worse?

Ah Lloyds !!! I had my finger on the button last month to buy 50k of them when they were 41p, then decided not to. Ah well, cannot win them all!

My guess is that they will be keen to buy a good amount now as the price is low and they don´t want to risk the share running away towards a pound.

I REALLY hope it goes under 1p. I have been buying this down from 2p so anything that I can get under 1p would be a bloody gift.

LewisMJ - "qualified retail investors" any investment through a broker like Fidelity etc. It means you cannot buy shares directly which no-one does. Its a limp RNS with no affect to the company. The millions traded everyday will DEFINATELY not be on the MOEX.
