This is a great time for investing in oil companies. Yep, people are looking short term for Tullow, will it be 25p or 30p plus. But this is a unique time to invest in oil company shares. BP is at a 15 year low. So the only way is up (as Yazz famously sang). So whatever price people got in on TLW or other oil shares, we are at the bottom and the next 1 to 2 years will see an excellent return.

Because the RNS has not dropped. They are just keeping an eye on the hills. Watch them run when the RNS drops and the share price moves north.

Shorters are aware that whenever the announcement is made they will be "caught short" so they are taking profits and buying back the shares rather than leave overnight

I am hoping that the next RNS announcing completion of the deal does not arrive today or tomorrow morning.

A perfect time for me is after close of markets tomorrow so that institutions and people can digest it over the weekend ready for Monday morning.

The share price will probably languish in the early to mid 20´s until the next RNS appears. The share has today risen by 25% but when the next RNS comes in confirming the 500 million has arrived in Tullow´s accounts then the share price will have a massive spike. I personally would not want to be looking at shorting this stock knowing that an RNS will drop at any time of the day and send the share price north by 25% to 150%.

Scary times for shorters so lets give them a hand for their nerve.

Agreed. All potential buyers. Get in now while it is under 20p. A quick buck will be made on this as it heads to 40p

A nice steady climb will happen until will get the RNS that the deal has completed and then it will spike.

Yes, RNS will be due before year end. The Total director then said days or weeks which would suggest it will be earlier but I think the over enthusiasts on here thought that meant the next day or this week.

Chill, TLW will hit the 20´s in the near term, don´t worry.

Mate, I feel for you.
I was in CINE like yourself. In fact I was balls in as I believed in the company. After the release of the results and the fact that there was no positive news or spin from Moody I lost confidence immediately and sold. I then went balls in to TLW at 16p. I have 750,000 share of TWL at the moment.
So mate, I hope that we recover our losses and TLW shines for us. I have a lot more confidence in TLW than CINE.

This is only good news. Regardless of the nitty gritty of the deal. Premier Oil were in danger of going out of business and the new deal gives life and future to Premier.

Instead of losing our money, we will see a raise, whether it be quick or slow.

I was long on CINE and was totally angered by the results last month, there was no positivity from Mooky and I sold my holding the day of the results and just broke even.

I still think that this is a good share to invest but the dust needs to settle before serious investors get involved

BP and Royal Dutch Shell. Both are at all time low. One is a low of 15 years and the other 25 years.

If its cruise stocks then look at SAGA. Down to a low of 11p with an insurance business to prop it up

Like Guitarman, I sold the day after results day and intended (and still intend) to go back into CINE.

I don´t believe it will go to 5p - 10p. My feeling is, like Hosai it will be early 30´s. If it heads in the next few weeks to sub 30 then I will be looking to buy
