The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Fab trading conditions on the indices over DT period and with all this volatility this last month ... I believe we are now in remarkable territory... more so than trading in the 2008/9 period.
Happy Xmas ...
It's great when you have a few trillion or so to play with. Be nimble and wise.
Hottentot, whilst I have posted less than 3 postings per year under CFDDAYTRADER since Feb'08 to date, I can see where you are coming from. From my end, I never keep notes on passwords and whilst I have never attempted to be anything other than myself, I am becoming increasingly forgetful yet forgiving, and hope that you understand. Such dynamic trading periods as of today rarely proffer such opportunity and wish you health, wealth and happiness.
As per trades, the ranges within are now consolidating and becoming predictable, which is the icing on the cake!
QE Euro style has created the obvious disconnect from US home grown support upon it's own indices to now placing funds to where QE support lends superior investment in Euroland. I tend to focus on the weaker euro indices for knee jerk volatility underscored by the trillion euro support thinking it will head their way , but hey ho, each has our burden.
NIK225 is now the focus in play atm.
Contra positions loaded to maintain any madness, such that will kick in on auto pilot and swing traded through turbulence.
Hot, I am very good to trot, just started loading reserved profits @ £200PP on DAX short 11225 with no stop.
HT/FMR, re SL's, I suffered big time on early wrong entry's on the DAX in January but covered via opposite directional trades via both monthly contracts within the same platform (IG) and DFB trade's externally with other platforms. There were numerous swings within that that had to be traded but my original ( bad timed entry trades ) were traded out at an aggregate profit but non the less as showing individual loss. Whilst these trades were showing a loss ( the first time in a long time) I chose these options as it was firstly the only way I could counter my bad entry point but in reality focused me so much that I could never have profited so much had I taken my usual profit had they gone as per norm. At times I was running £200 PP in volatile trading which made up for some lost ground quickly but that profit was then aggregated against my original negative entries with a serious amount left in, that could have equally gone the other way but did not, and on that, I did put a stop loss back to the aggregate position. This was only done as I was £100's of K's down at one stage across all my positions and it ended up £100's of K's above, I think as Farmer would say, it got a little hairy but worked out ok. This was, however, the first time I put a SL on for years. Presidents Day is holding back the Euro Markets. Will be trading the Asian markets tonight and early doors to see what lead may be taken on the markets pre trade but this week continues to a slow but sure opportunity. GL
I did then find it so hypocritical of the Irish to then only sign into Europe, but there we go, welcome to my world!
Any hew, enough of the crap.. great song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J3-scyK7CA
I do not understand why folk want to come to our United Kingdom if they do not like us for what we are. Take, spite, bloody and humiliate, springs to mind , from a minority of such folk. The minority of such folk then horrendously infiltrates our society and remains a random and difficult foe to tackle. At least the IRA had a cause and were not cowards. Dealing with these folk requires, even at my old age, requires special input, hence visiting the shrink fortnightly or so, amongst other activities!
... fortnightly to 3 weekly actually, for a couple of hours, but well worth it.
I'm kinda over argy bargy, but still visit the shrink once and a while to make sure the I's and the T's are still in sink... bloody good wine though!
..obviously drink it!
