I dare say that all those packaged financial deals of past will soon run out and that the lessons of nuking Japan a few times will also come around.
I choose my words , should their currency actually weaken , the industrial and commercial foot print that they continue to gain whilst Europe dithers will effectively wipe out the export powerhouse of Germany.
I find it a credit to the Japanese that they continue to make major inroads whilst their currency is loaded so low. Their ability to constantly proffer alternatives remains.

Hi Si , I go with ( very short term) dollar weakness , ( extremely short term ) euro strength, a little gold on the top up and oil ( not mentioned ) a freak show subject to continued US intervention to keep the red necks @ bay and best avoided , atb , Mark

... Asian companies are feeling the pinch as exporters and whilst I try to make a thousand pounds a day , every day , such is chicken feed for those that rule.
..the politics of holding hands is just sick as had the fiscal entry been observed from the outset , non of this shovel would have happened. There will be a result , and that will be that the tax payers across Europe will simply say that enough is enough.
...bearing in mind that any devalued a Euro will play into the most prominent of Euro exporters hands , I see little downside elsewhere.

.. my oldest daughter looked at Gibraltar for many reasons( me being based domestically in Spain with lots of little ones) but she chose Brighton .. something to do with her equestrian and non commercial genes ( balance I guess).I dare say that oilers and others related will trickle downwards and insurers will remain attractive whilst retailers and bankers will fight it out. I remain in my field of Ireland, Portugal , Greece , Italy and Spain so have little in common :) , gl and best wishes , Mark.
