That's excellent news.

There is a reason for freezing the samples, but clearly the method for storage isn't appropriate as it adversely impacts the tests. I would suggest that the freeze method and solution be appropriately changed and other choices from a number of different ways of doing this are taken.

He seems to differentiate the good LFTs based on quality of results, transparency of data and those tests that don't over exaggerate their results.

After Avacta's initial results here is what Jon Deeks replied:

"Good 1st results @avacta but make sure all studies are reported and peer reviewed so the evidence is clear to the world.

@mologic are setting the standard on how this should be done. And tests need to work at Ct>25. That’s a false dichotomy used for marketing poor tests. "

But here is what I think is fascinating:

"Avacta will also support antigen testing in low and middle income countries[1] by providing access to Avacta’s spike antigen test through Mologic."

It suggests that the Mologic not for profit test uses Avacta's spike antigen protein. To me that's a clear indication that the game is on.

I agree Bella, it's not right for Avacta to comment. I personally don't think it's right for Avacta to comment until there is RNS worthy news outside of an NDA.

BBI and Novo tie up was one indicator.

This may not be realised right away, but the recent Gates and Soros buyout of Mologic will trigger further acquisitions.

I've mentioned this before, that there will be a very small window of opportunity to acquire Avacta, after which it hits a large cap valuation through acquisition target price. I'm hoping it's after AVA6000 p1 results as the value will be much larger.

Its an educated guess from experience, and i'm over 95% confident.

Jon Deeks (who likes LFTs) states his 5 points of what constitutes positive news for tests. It would be knowing if:

1) High quality tests are developed using the best expertise from industry and universities

2)Tests are evaluated in strong robust studies to work out whether they work in the real world for the purposes to which they are put

3) Study findings report the truth about whether they do more good than harm, and not spun for profit, popularity or reputation

4) Tests are developed to meet the greatest public health needs

5) Tests are affordable and available in the populations that need them most

@Epping. The key point regarding Deeks views on LFTs are that they are good as long as the evaluation is stringent, transparent and not over interpreted:

They have done and transparently reported some of the best studies of their tests I have seen from biomarker companies. "

From this and a number of other tweets, we are aware that Deeks has no issue towards LFTs. However he wants data from studies to be stringent, transparent and not over interpreted. Fortunately for Avacta, we met that criteria and will have some huge news shortly.
