NuckyT : i feel same if does not go up by 3-4% something is fundermentally wrong . Me ill cash in currently 26% up on my iag investment and move to lloyds . Pick up the dividend then probaly move to metro bank or may come back in to iag if drops down in mid march
NuckyT free cash mate and shareholders paying for it , but like you id rather see debt reduced as much as possible then IAG can buy whatever it wants to expand . Like any house hold in income falls you still have debt to pay but it looks like iang are doing well in sales long haul. Short haul im not so sure .

If i was going to buy a car and buying on finance is not the car dealer responsability to get the best finance for its customer. So if the car salesperson has options to get financeand he makes more out of commision selling a finance package that suits the salesman not the customer . Then surley the Salesperson of the car showroom is at fault as he is misleading the customer not the lender . Who is acutally responsable for this the car company or the lender . To me its a person selling the finance therefore the car sales company . Thoughts
MPO its prudent to hold a little back just incase lloyds are involved MAY have to pay compensation . 650 million is not a large amount and its on hold not spent . Even if they spend it they can afford it at this years profit and if interests stay around 4-5 % they will Cash in there pillows ,quilt , dog kennel anyway they can stash it lol . Must admit be interesting to know how many shares are being bought now until 11/04/2024 ex divi date
ITS ALL TO DO WITH PROFIT MARGINS ex you buy for a 1£ sell for what you can get i thnk its called buisness !!!! all other info is just sideline and i know lloys are making great profit margins as long as cost are down this will get better stuff the buy backs
