I don't fully agree Stas20. Mongolia has been a huge disaster. Very difficult environment to work in both with its climate and its government and working protocols in government.

MB has got us to where we are where others could easily have crumbled. Don't forget Covid for a couple of years in the middle of this time.

Let's see what happens now. The chef, MB, has feathered MATD into a hugely strong position and if this doesn't deliver well in the next three years, he should go. But for now, I for one am glad and and grateful for the outcome he and the small team have worked so hard to achieve.

Interesting article in the Telegraph about Gazprom loss of business due to the war in Ukraine and the resulting sanctions.

In the report they state that Gazprom may look to China to supply 50 bn cubic meters of gas. The article also states "......while prices in Asia are lower than in Europe."

Is this also true for oil prices? Are prices lower in Asia for oil as well as gas - anyone???

Agree Stats20. If oil prices plunge then the SP will obviously be affected with MATD.

Difficult to see where this is going. The Saudis want to cut production, but this won't be for long if everyone else just pumps more oil to capitalise on the high price.

We have a few big oil discoveries reported now, not least in Antarctica. Oil is the second most prolific liquid on this planet after sea water. There is more oil than fresh water!

Let's see where oil prices end up and hope the short to medium term crude price remains well managed and high.

I posed this question on the board a few months ago. This was one question that was missing to MB at the AGM. It is a shame it wasn't put to him and answered.

It Mongolia is sitting on such a huge untapped reserve amd MATD is hopefully going to pump at least 25% of the country's oil output in coming years, then even with a shared revenue agreement to reinvest part of the income into the national wealth plan and the Mongolian treasury, this must be heading for quite a few billion£ in market cap. That will be a few pounds per share.

Cyberton, I always thought that Feb March on this news, it would rise to 12p to 15p within 2 months. Then up to 30p to 35p when first we'll pumps and news wells being drilled and confirmed as flowing. Then 50p to 60p by end of year.

Put this back by 3 months now. May be slightly lower due to less wells before the winter sets in. We will see.

That is my hunch.

I believe, Master, that they have equipment sufficient for 2 or 3 wells all in warehouse. The first well just needs hooking up to pump, circa 2 weeks from commencement of work. The other wells will need about 4 weeks per well to drill. Therefore expect 3 to 4 wells this season with luck.

Next year another 4 to 5 wells or so.

It is.coming on stream but only over a couple of years and now all at once.

Nice revenues before the year end. Good revenues next year. Excellent thereafter.

Up to 30 to 35p per share on multiple well news and revenue income confirmation.

60p after a year after the permit is granted assuming well roll out is spreading fast.

That is my gut on this. We will see.

I suspect down a bit as a raise is becoming necessary for survival. Then the bounce but less than hoped due to dilution of shares.

Unless they drop the suddenly acquired good news RNS that the permits are all signed, sealed and delivered and production can run with good revenue streams immediately. I doubt this as the elections are now upon us so only a 50- 50 chance IMO.

Master, I think the RNS was planted to get the bad news out there before the AGM, to try to give MB an easier time next week.

The big burning question now is whether we have an existential threat to MATD or whether there is enough from the renewables to make a business.

MATD doesn't seem to have the sway of power and close access to the ministers.or governors and even after the ambassadors input, we are exactly where we are!

Is this all fog in Mongolia or are we really going to get the RNS we all want. I am 50/50 on this. I have read a lot more soon's, almost, agreed to, passed by, expected to be starting then....! But not actual hard confirmation of anything absolute with a signed permit. Is this being controlled by the Mongolians wanting to manage the news flows of their good news for the nation, with the state wealth funds to enrich everyone before the election? Or is this just more slow moving mud? We will see, but MB must be very clear that the drilling season is now upon us, and anything short of the full green light with the production date confirmed in the spring/early summer of 2024 (NOW) for the first flows of oil to be pumped, is not acceptable.
