A report from Meam Twat, a small village close to the Chinese border to Mongolia, has surfaced stating that China have developed a long range horizontal drilling rig called the penetrator. This drill apparently is rumoured to have a capability of drilling to a distance of 150 km from the site of entry.

The rumours, I am led to believe, suggest that China is drilling deep into Mongolia to discover oil pockets and extract large amounts of crude oil without the knowledge of the MG.

This can't be good for MB and he is rumoured to be left feeling drained and empty after learning of this potential event!

My gut is sp due to start heading north in the next 10 days.

Sales agreement and export licence will drop with a good RNS .

From April 6th, another ISA year starts with an allowance of up to £20k to be invested tax free. That will bring a degree of cash into the market and some into Matd.

Temperatures are rising. The second quarter begins. Reworks will happen. H1 will be first priority to increase flow rate and income that will fund the other planned work (Adw).

Renewables with some big news from Sunsteppe will drop and catch us all snapping. Can't wait for that!

Technically it is Rocket Engineering- only because my son is an engineer and as you know, I get very excited about rockets - lots of rockets!

The good news is that MATD can bargain hard with three "Entities" fighting to be our JV partners. This may result in more of a 70:30 split with the chosen partner, rather than a 50:50 partnership. We will see, but it is good for shareholders and ultimately for the sp.

About 6 weeks for signatures and export license to be issued as my guess. What platform is the agreement on even?

The question is whether all parties will sign and then this is sitting on the MG main frame system or not. Will the system automatically generated the export license?

Really not sure. But due process is due process.

Having stayed on a pineapple plantation and seen how they grow, whilst on sharp razor spined ground plants, they are off the ground and would drop off when ripe! A pineapple plant produces fruit for 3 years and then gets replaced.

However I think it will drift down gently right now until the sales agreement and resulting export license RNS' land. This will be a three steps up and one step down ride until the solid base of income is there and the potential opportunities start to become reality, IMO.

To me - the big news items with realistic positive impact are the sales agreement with export license between now and the end of April. Followed by the upgrading of H1 sometime in May. Throw in the awarding of the other new block next to VII!

Then some good news re Sunsteppe by the end of June.

Some stimulation results in July - of we are lucky with some good news.

That would be a full basket for me.

A JV will be presented at some time. Hopefully within the third quarter and perhaps the second quarter. But this is a long term game and will bear fruit only when the fruit is ripe to drop!

Further to WOS post at 10.17, and after pondering the words used for "Entities" at the AGM and the fact that the only program for Block XX this year is stimulation of H2, Gobi and Gazelle, I am feeling this is a 70% wish/expectation to sell and only 30% for JV development. Just my thoughts and reading.

Mulling58, I would like that to be true, but I doubt it.

If they have three "entities" vying for to be out JV partner, then each would need to go through extensive meetings with verbal offers to get to a position of submitting their formal proposal before being able to fine tune a terms of agreement prior to carfully checking the drawn up contractual terms prior to the signing of a contract.

This very long process will be like the sales agreement, but probably longer and akin to a formal tender process.

This will hopefully be done this year, but not this week or month, IMO.

More likely is news of the formal signing of the sales contract which may or may not be in the same RNS as the issuing of the export license. We will see.

I agree having looked at their website. They are very focused on carbon solutions so I can't think they would want to touch any oil.

The point to me is this. H1, once stimulated, should drive about a £5 million profit.

Anything from H2, Gobi, Gazelle would be ontop. IF one or two of these were found to be great, then at least one should hopefully get into production this year as we have the kit in warehouse to commission another operating well. Thst would hopefully add a further slim amount to this years income and profit but next year should add a further £3 to £5 million for to profit depending on flow rates. Suddenly Block XX is worth £10 of profit to us, we have resulting money to drill more wells, and every additional piece of income increases the value of Block XX to the company and therefore increases the price we would want for selling it.

That then knocks onto the JV deal too.

Plus renewables. Plus the new block to be awarded.

2025 will be a good, solid year of progress in my book.

2025 will not be a write off. It will be a year of consolidating the income through driving the efficiency of the sunk wells and ensuring a stable and profitable level of regular income. I believe we will probably end up with a profit of around £5 million for 2025 as a guess from me, but it will be positive and profitable. Not a bad result at all. We will have to wait and see!

There are very few trades today, but price happily around the 1.7p. Goodness knows what will happen when the signed agreement and export license are announced!!! It may be a little chance for a WOS mission to the moon with a couple of rockets only. But from the Moon we then look towards Mars!!
