The situation you describe in the NS is being ignored because people like CEOs of Harbour and Enquest do not have t he moral fibre to lay out the facts on climate change as it affects fossil fuels. The 9 x mantra from Milliband is open to be corrected and embarrass . Why don’t we do it, us that is.

Romaron the incessant demonisation is founded on ignorance and false accounting, supporting and being used by politicians who are wanna be’s or are never weres. Milliband is prime example . My greatest disappointment is with Tories. The PM is only interested in looking ok in his Buggins Turn as premier, whilst maintaining his protection of his banking fraternity . Disgraceful behaviour to hammer oil and gas companies and energy producers with windfall taxes, while ignoring the obscene bunce that banks are reaping.
Hunt imho is no more than face at the front doing his masters bidding while also acting as the flak deflector. All my life I’ve voted conservative but never again. Beside the sleaze, the lies and the sheer incompetence, there are no leaders, and most importantly no unity.

Romaron, Ive long felt that the real government purpose of the EPL is , besides getting Starmer off their backs, to pull the plug on the North Sea. In the short term it will provide some input to the coffers, keep the eco and climate nutters a little happier, and virtue signal to anyone vaguely interested their COP credentials,. The longer term effect will be to pull the rug from under Sturgeon's economic baseplate and strengthen the governments argument to keep Scotland in the UK. Trebles all round !

The Selfservative Party , what are they like. The EPL is a Double whammy, screw the North Sea operators , get Juststopoil and Labour off their back, additionally, wipe out Sturgeons main economic prize in independence. How brilliant is the Sunak - Hunt economic strategy ?
