I think you are spot on Krakenoil, if perhaps a little soft on the CEO. Vague ? When you don’t know what you’re doing any utterance is vague. I believe the successful management of Enquest is beyond Bseisu’s capabilities. A change of key board players including Bseisu would do the company a world of good, IMHO.

Exactly my point, the skin in the game is his and that is all he is interested in. But he is not the only one who stumped up additional funds to keep his boat afloat. Many of us also dipped into our pockets for further funds to give him. Jam tomorrow , Maybe.

Who happily spend on China, USA and Indian services, products and food, but ignore their overwhelming effect on global carbon footprint. . You ask where is the platform to push against this. It’s with the companies most affected, the O and G companies, but as you infer they are gutless. To the extent that they should be publicly and scornfully held to account by us, the shareholders. The AGM is the earliest opportunity.
Instead of declaring support for them on notice boards such as this, let them know , vociferously and directly that the lies and propaganda they accept are unacceptable to shareholders and hold them to account for at the very least using their platform to push back.

I agree the industry should have collected facts and figures to argue their case, they’ve had months to do it , where’s the pushback? Where’s the debunking of lies ( 9x ) , the real cost of subsidising renewables , the out and out ****** that has been thrown at the NS O &G industry.

Uplift is NewSouth Wales based from the brief look I’ve had. The climate emergency group are US based , and there are a few uk attention seekers . I am wading through the IEA pathway to zero ( gawd help me) and aside from a great deal of motherhood statements and wishful thinking, I have yet to come across a detailed transition plan for uk, seems it’s up to each country to do their own.
