I know where you’re coming from mate but I somewhat disagree in terms of spooking investors. The only people who have sold are the ones gambling on a spike which never came.
If you’re (not you) the type of investor who gets spooked by an RNS stating that the CEO has left the building 2 months after finding out this exact news which was already public prior to the RNS well then you shouldn’t be investing.
I say the main event is a year away however there are many catalysts for SP increase and higher base points along the way.
The credibility is an issue however not one thing done by Mike or the Mgt Team was caused or created by them. If I was in their shoes I’d be so frustrated that my business reputation was being affected by situations beyond the company’s control.
People have their opinions of course but in my view the daily analysis (with no additional company news) is rather pointless if it leads to personal frustration. The debate is healthy and I welcome differing opinions as it removes blind spots however let’s be honest discussing MM’s, the spread & guessing the motives of any individual sell and reasons for that sell become rather laborious.
I’d rather discuss potential g/t, resource volume, additional strikes and potential annual turnover V profit. Let’s talk about the CEO position, employee (geologist recruitment), machinery needed and cap ex required (low) for an open at depth area of interest. Lets debate our peer comparisons and whether they are overvalued or are we undervalued (maybe a mix of both).
I’m be a little facetious of course but I’m just saying there is so much more we could be discussing that could really shed light on the company and to investors sitting on the sidelines who may benefit from these discussions more so than “who the f**k is selling prior to results?” :-p
Maybe I’m wrong and if I am people have every right to tell me so :-)
Take care buddy
