Hi Watchman, I see your point, but I'd suggest back that yesterday we saw a director selling off some good volume at what we think is a low price, still higher than where we are at today, but the share was barely rocked on the news of a director selling off, considering we're back now to where we were closed on Tuesday and on an upward tick again. There would have been a number of retail investors who sold on the news (like me), who may have bought back at a lower price (like me), or lost the opportunity as new buyers came or other investors increased their positions buying the dip. Its the mindset of some people would have lost yesterday, and some would have won stock at a new price and wont want to sell below that price.

Hi Pokerchips. Sure and agree, but there's also a lot of money to be made on volatility on the way down also.
There were 4 massive drops from 20%-45% or so followed by buy backs, and I'm pretty sure it would have mostly been retail investors which hurt each time on those random massive drops, and the II's benefiting (mainly) from the dip buying.
For me though, I just can't see this going down further considering the BR sell off price level and our steady hold at this level compared to the previous bouncy drops. I can only see upwards movements from here. I can't see what there is to gain now for the II's to try to push the price down further, especially with XMAS trade now on.

Some nice volumes have just gone in for a push back over 605.

I still purely think this was a squeeze on retail investors starting just prior to the end of the Investor Lockup period to get the best pricing for the institutions from what could be an Amazon competitor of the future. And I don't think I'm being crazy here.

Also, I don't think this will be the same as Centrica. Matt in the GQ interview seemed pretty convinced peak trading this Christmas will be very strong. So we should see a good update soon which will spark a ramp.
Personally I really don't want to have to wait that long for it, but I'm now so p****d off with how this share has been pushed down by the system, I really don't want to sell here and play into their hands. I'm just convinced growth will occur soon and I don't want to sell at the bottom and miss the growth. I'd rather bag hold it if it comes to it.

Exactly Watchman, I think this is purely a private investor squeeze out at the bottom. Once that's done, they'll start pumping the business again in the media to increase their profits. If you look at what happened the last time we were around this price in August it took 10 days to jump 33% to 750 after pumping

@Fordm - I understand your position. I'm a way over-invested bag holder now and I'm convinced there will be a strong bounce at some point.
But as to @pokerchips point, I think we may need a catalyst like a share purchase RNS from MM or someone in the board, or a good sales forecast update or a good broker rating to start that ramp up.

From the chart it looks like it was oversold this morning with a strong dip-buying bounce, but it wouldn't be one for me to comment on really as I'd need to look into the business more.

I think Tech may be bought by the money makers a little later now following the higher than expected CPI inflation data from the US yesterday, and high inflation from other countries. The Nasdaq fell quite a lot yesterday, as did the S&P500, whilst UK FTSE100 traded OK and is looking good today also, as it's better value than the US markets currently I think for global traders.

So today I wouldn't expect much I think. Flatish/slightly positive is now my expectation for today, with a next move to the 620/628 soft resistance line.

But I think the money makers are prioritising building positions in mining and banking today. Evergrande has paid another bill apparently so Iron Ore, Copper is doing ok and could be at price lows. Gold and silver are strong as a hedge against inflation so companies like CEY and POLY have been doing well lately. Banking is doing well I think at the believe the Fed and BOE may have to raise rates soon to push back on inflation.

I'm convinced we're now at the bottom of pricing for DARKtrace and THG so I'm holding a lot in both of those businesses now, but personally I think we may need some patience

I still think this is a tree shake at the bottom by the money maker bots to thrash out weaker retail investors.
It may need to bounce around 200 to 205 for a bit before pushing up as shorters close their positions I think.

Yesterday we traded about 1m shares below 600p.
Since we've traded about 1m shares above 600p.
I believe volume squeeze momentum should start pushing the price up from here based on this continued technical analysis. Very low volumes trading now with a last tree shake of the buyers from yesterday.
Based on the volumes sold 3rd to 8th November below 600p, well there are about 4m shares in balance out of about 15m shares traded since above this price, so likely these are now long holders or will hold through today (e.g. why would people want to buy and sell at the same price...)

We'll probably see some profit taking to the end of the day like previously, but the more I watch this stock the more I'm convinced this is a solid shake down and it's just upwards from here (and by that I mean there may be red days, but the trend will be upwards).
Disappointed with my earlier predictions on the price action today, clearly yesterday's was pure luck lol
There will be a FOMO phase at some point soon though - I feel it in my bones!
