The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
gulp, you sound like the agent of death, every post you put out (regardless of the company) is a negative one... agree it would be a bouncy ride and there would be some suffering. Ultimately it would be a case of containment and the issue would go before vaccination (remember they are also testing the right approach in curing people and made some good progress in some areas)..... would help if there is a total ban on shorting for a while and the pearls would fall ...(punt intended )
hey Dogger69 you are hee e too? Let me guess, losing money and at a total loss ? Saying you are feeling to give it up etc? You seem to have done the same on ALL share board you have posted. Either you are a total loser in buying shares (and we told you to STOP buying them) or make things up (second one is my guess). If you are actually buying shares, stop but do seek help as you are a clearly not in the right frame of mind. Do not go on an anonymous board threatening to jump or "end it" as people get fed up with "screaming wolf "..... in summary stop being a numpty (anyone who thinks my response to the poster is nasty, look at his/her past history and posts...)
have failed to notice something else..... the bank have stepped up their recruitment over the past few days/weeks. Yes, some derampers might say it does not mean anything, well it actually does especially looking at the roles being advertised.
Dogger, you can blame anyone you like but ultimately it is your shares. If you can not afford to lose the whole lot sell (you could have done a few weeks ago but you were after a porsche (Aka greed) . It is clear (and I know I am a broken record ) that you should not be investing in shares (you are not a better record either). Options you got are a) sell the whole lot or b) stay in (and risk to lose the lot) but be quiet with your psychological threats .... you are not doing yourself or anyone else here any favors. We all have got out own problems without sharing them on an open forum (PS I might sound harsh but you either invested here without any research or you do need help) ......
Dogger, pleased you are not a shorter BUT please keep away from Shares!!!!!!!!! you get less stress playing bingo ....if your idea was for Metro to be 10£ by now...well ooopssss. If you do not need the money for a year or so, you can either forget about checking the SP every 2 mins or sell at a loss and that is it! But seriously keep away from the stock market.
I never said hedge funds have to state daily their short position (they have to declare increases and decreases when those happens!) also IF Institutional Big buys are not interested in the SP and even a tiny short cases the SP to drop 3% well then we have got some serious issues...in essence there is not appetite from big investors and that is the issue we all have got. I am confident the SP would eventually come good again but would not be anywhere the levels many rampers here are stating (i.e 4)... confidence from institutions is what the bank needs... the SP would not either go down to the level some here are stating...
they are not "selling" the 20M shares every day are they? Shorting (which I do not agree with) has a key impact when it takes place,.. the 10% shorted here is not the cause of the sp staying at this level but the fact investors are not buying in.... maybe if you can not grasp that basic concept you ought to do some basic research? If the sp is going down and hardly any new shares have been shorted you can not say it is because of it. Simple as that...
The SP has nothing to do with Shorters, ultimately it is people not buying the shares. Those hoping for a £5,£6,£7 SP would have to wait 5,6,7 etc years for it. Any offer which could come through would be at the very top 4 (and that is a MEGA PUSH and at a very top ie not even 1% of a chance of that) more likely around the 330 P region (IF That). Some of the derampers are as bad, and again laughable, always puzzled me if people are not invested (short or long) why they are so “keen” in spending time on shares BB….. (PS for the currency exchange I’d suggest to look at Metro website so that any accusation of Money laundry can be easily set aside….that was pathetic btw!)...
ah fair point !I was wondering more than anything! Do not read much of the Board tbh as 90% is truly ... but yeah depends what is your buy in price might take a little while to recoup all the money. Presume it is a "bitterness " situation etc and thus trying to warn others (but again in fairness anyone who invests on a blinder has got only himself/herself to blame ;)) ) Anyway as long your buy in price is not 400 or higher you might see it sometimes next year ...... and do not be too bitter! It is only loose change ;)
