Probably a good idea. Melvin Benn is MD of Festival Republic they put on the major festivals in the UK like Reading & Leeds. He doesn't think festivals can go ahead with social distancing and been working with the government, great news story if they adopted our LFT for all their festivals

Great news this is going ahead and even better if we are part of the trail for a new LFT, will update when I hear what tests are being used.

Latitude Festival going ahead this summer

The festival, in Henham Park, Suffolk, will go ahead at full capacity next month.

Organisers confirmed it will take place from 22 to 25 July as part of the government's event research programme.

They said festival-goers will need to have a negative lateral flow test or proof of two vaccinations.

Headliners include Wolf Alice, The Chemical Brothers, Bastille and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Bill Bailey, Katherine Ryan, Jo Brand, Reginald D. Hunter and Simon Amstell are also on the bill.

Festival director Melvin Benn said: "We have been working extremely hard to make sure that Latitude Festival can go ahead safely at full capacity.

"Restarting festivals is crucially important to the wellbeing of everyone in society and we hope that Latitude will be the first of many festivals to take place this summer."
