Putin hopes talks with Ukraine will 'yield positive result'
President Vladimir Putin has been speaking with UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres at a meeting in Moscow today to discuss the war in Ukraine.

He said that while Russia's "military operation" was still underway the Kremlin still "hoped to achieve agreements through a diplomatic channel" before adding that peace talks were continuing in an online format.

The Russian leader went on to say that while he hoped talks with Ukraine "will yield a positive result" there were issues that needed to be "streamlined" before meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Both Russia and Ukraine have blamed each other for the collapse of multiple planned humanitarian corridors from Mariupol.

Mr Guterres said he had had a "very frank discussion" with Mr Lavrov and it was his "deep conviction" that the war should end as soon as possible

Speaking at a news conference, Mr Lavrov said the UN secretary-general had been "very well-informed" about the objectives of Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine.

In a potential sign of some positive movement, he said the pair had discussed possible steps to "strengthen co-operation" on humanitarian aid.

Putin has lost interest in talks to end the war - report
Vladimir Putin is no longer interested in diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict and instead wants to seize as much Ukrainian territory as possible, according to a report in the Financial Times.

Three people briefed on conversations with the Russian president told the paper that Mr Putin was seriously considering a peace deal with Ukraine last month.

However, they said he now cannot see any resolution through diplomatic talks and believes they are at a "dead end".

One person briefed on the talks said: "Putin sincerely believes in the nonsense he hears on [Russian] television and he wants to win big."

His approach hardened after the sinking of Russian warship Moskva, which Ukraine has claimed responsibility for.

A source said: "Putin was against signing anything... after the Moskva he doesn't look like a winner, because it was humiliating."

They are flying to the US shortly to present AVA6K to the cancer conference, I really can't see they will present "it's safe but we don't know if we are hitting the tumour". We know the independent safety committee approved a dose increase of 50% in early Feb, they are meeting every two weeks with real time data. We see a serge of impressive appointments and advertised careers in London. All looking good to me..

If it's not them closing then we have a big buyer who wants to get in quickly. Less shares on the market for when the shorts do want to close.

All we need tomorrow is that everything is progressing as planned with AVA6K.
This is totally different to the LFT mess, we were all waiting on contracts and when the contracts didn't appear it was a sharp drop.
With AVA6K it's a slow burner but the longer we progress without any concerns or issues then that in its self is a massive sales contract.
