Kempsy,
Unfortunatly[?] It is not how hard you work or how christian your work is. Indeed its not even the effort you put into it that decides how much you earn.
It is what it earns for the governments [and the company you work for or own] that decide your salary.
Without the 2 higher paid sons taxes, cos they earn so much and pay high taxes, in order to finance the 2 lower paid sons
Way of the world unfortunatly.
The point which seems to be missed by the majority of posters here is the Market Cap.
The value of the company is first decided by the market cap which is then divided by the number of shares in issue thus giving us [the share holders] the share price.
All the time there is a visible share overhang, such as the 4.3 million pounds waiting in the wings to be converted into shares, then the price of these shares will not rise until it is dealt with.
It would require an enourmously positive RNS to be issued, at this point, for the SP to rise above it's present level, probably in excess of 1200 BOPD from the latest well project would need to be reported.
Anything less than this would [IMO] just leave the SP static, with 600 to 700 BOPD resulting in a drop.
Time will tell.
All this just in opinion.
Realturbo,
Perhaps some of the larger holders have wind of the upcoming yearly numbers.
Hope not, but what else could cause this staedy decline.?????
Oilboil"Shareholder agreement would be required for any sale, and I for one would not be agreeing to any sale at a 20% "premium". They'd have to prise those shares from my cold dead hands."
I, personally, would rather be dead in a ditch.
Someone asked after joining up with the gynecologists [amateur].
If it helps, the section to which I belong is Venerable Institute of Regional Gynecologists [Internally Noted Alumni Section].
Hope it helps.
Next county council elections are in May 2021 not 4 years away. See UK governments election time table.
Those elected will, no doubt, still have an eye on these elections 21 months away and to think not would be most naive
I to am a gynecologist [amateur] and spend much time looking at pictures and infrornmation on the subject, hence my viewing of this bullitin board.
Published on 26/07/2019 by drill or drop:-
"The decision date has been postponed at least four times, moving from March 2019 to May, then June, July and now September.
The deadline for comments on the most recent Horse Hill consultation is 19 August 2019.
This gives planning officers 12 working days to review the responses before publishing their recommendation on the scheme a week before the September meeting."
So thats the 4th Sep. [next Weds.] with the meeting [if it takes place] on 11th Sep.
Whats the chance of another postponement?
Odds on I'd say as voters hold the swing over the elected councillors
Time will tell
what would give the greater boost to the SP and by what sort of factor, the elusive rig turning up or SCC granting permission to extract on a 25 year plan.
What sort of factor would be involved.
My wonderings lead me to belive it would be SCC and by quite a large margin.
Reference UKOG's planning application to SCC.
The point everyone seems to miss is that an overwhelming majority of SCCs voters [A larger majority by some margin, than Boris's overwhelming majority for Brexit], do not wish to see UKOG extracing oil from HH.
The reports that it is quite safe to carry out the extraction and any financial gain is immaterial to SCC and they will postpone the planning meeting due in Sept in accordance with the voters wishes.
I wonder how long this post will stay before some ardent ramper who can see the truth of it has it taken down.
As a dissusion board, this board is a complete waste of time with rampers moving to take down any counter posts no matter how correct they might be.
Time will tell, and the SCC planning meeting being postponed again will prove this point.
wiz, "We will not get even the Portland CPR before the planning for HH is complete"
You seem to suggest that planning will go through SCC meeting in September.
If only that were the case.
It is a pretty safe bet that the meeting will be cancelled /postphoned. The number of times this meeting has been postphoned suggest that they will never, without a rocket up their jacksee, push this meeting through.
The people who voted them in dont want it, in the majority, and the SCC will bow to them as long as possible.
Hey ho, but one day, hopefully before the number of shares in issue reaches 2 billion, it will go through..

From Drill or Drop:- Angus Energy said this morning its Balcombe oil well in West Sussex had flowed at rates of 853 and 1,587 barrels of oil per day in tests. But the company said it had encountered unexpected water and ran out of time to do more than two tests because equipment had failed.
In a statement to investors, Angus said this morning it believed it could isolate the water-producing zone and establish commercial production at the Balcombe well under normal pumped conditions.
The company will need to apply for planning permission and environmental permit consents to go into production.
The tests were restricted to seven days and the statement said the duration of each test run was limited.
Hardly a definitive test mate and nowhere near 3000 bopd
